How Poetry's Conveyed

Think of a baby's stunning smile; or a feather tickling your cheek. And the day you ran your first mile; or the laugh of a chuckling creek. Feel the heartbreak of solitude; or the pain of a single tear. And a degrading platitude, or paralyzing bout of fear. Envision a golden sunrise glinting off the wings of a dove. And the spark in an infant's eyes; or memories of your first love. Gaze at the moon's celestial light; or mountains glistening with snow. Watch the twinkling stars pierce the night; or the rising tide, ebb, and flow. What caused your heart to break or melt; among the emotions relayed? Now, pen to paper, what you felt; that's how poetry gets conveyed.
