Love Poem: Glorious Sunrise

Glorious Sunrise

Forgotten what it was to be alive
Then I see this glorious sunrise
Each one totally different
Today casts shadows of orange
Onto the charcoal gray whispy
Clouds

Clouds that have been painted
With an artist fan brush
Light and whispy seemingly
Stationary, Not moving an
Inch just sitting there for me

Fog not as heavy
Air slightly warmer
Shilouettes of trees
With up stretched arms
Relishing the early suns warmth

No lizzards near
Just the quiet presence
Feeling him here
He has gifted me
With the morning

The best part of the day
Help me to soak in the presence
To relax, refresh my spirit
With purpose so I can enjoy
Contentment today
