Love Poem: For Eternity

For Eternity

The morning alarm
That is never annoying
That actually makes me want to wake up
The soothing goodnight lullaby
That easily puts me into a peaceful slumber
I lie in bed
Basking in pure joy
In the dawn
And
In the twilight
My wings take flight
To try to get close to you
The distance does not disturb me
Nor the absent touch of your hand
On mine
Just the warmth of your voice
Across the receiver
Miles away
Somehow no fear is present
Only hope
Only admiration
Only soft tenderness
Like the fur of the tiger
Yawning on the side of the mountains
Giving a soft yawn
I give a soft scratch behind his ears
Releasing a gentle purr
I smile
It seems that I have tamed the beast
That is me and my demons
The absent red flags
Only green bellowing in the wind
Signaling go, go, go
And my heart signals the same
It is safe
My brain kindly tells me
It is safe for you to love now
It is safe and sound now
I breath in and out
Paralyzed with happiness
And
I truly want to stay this way
For eternity
