Love Poem: Fade Away

Fade Away

Slowly the writing will fade Termites will eat the pages and they wither away Seasons change and there is no same green leaf There is no same mushroom sprout There is no same dried log Slowly the writing will fade Termites will eat the pages and they wither away And you become the tarnished page of a story book And forgotten with the pile of hurtful memories In the making of beautiful ones And forgotten with the pile of unmet dreams In the chasing of new ones Slowly the writing will fade Termites will eat the pages and they wither away -puvi-
