Love Poem: Exhibit

Exhibit

He's not a sculpture in a museum,
He was a beautiful art work
And one I'd spend countless years trying to interpret
Give meaning to my exhibits that confuse people
Ignore methods to my madness
And lost sanity

He's not a sculpture in a museum,
He was a painting set up in my heart
Beautiful
Rare
Breath taking
He was a gargoyle protecting me like a crow
He always said, "Whatever is good for your soul, do that"
For a golden hearted man, he's talented with everything he touches

He sits on a pedestal made of 24k gold
A breath taking sight to be seen in a art exhibit
I wish his past lovers and friends well
Because they missed out on the amazing person he became
I find him in the eyes of passing strangers
And conversations I have
He's always with me even when I think he isn't
