Ecstasy

Eve and Adam*, both 16, gave in to temptation to try the "hug drug."*
Cuddling and kissing ceased when she succumbed to the drug,
Suffering an unusually bizarre reaction--just shy of death.
Two weeks later, unaffected by the drug but guilt-ridden,
Adam sat by her hospital bed staring at the murmuring machines,
Silently praying for her recovery and for forgiveness. Adam and Eve--
Young virgins who put themselves at tremendous risk to satisfy curiosity!

*"Hug drug" and "Adam" are street names for the illegal drug Ecstasy. Like many other drugs, legal and illegal, it is very unpredictable in its effects on users.
