Divinity
Divinity of which we speak
is God’s light within, all souls seek,
innate to us and yet is veiled,
until upon the cross we’re nailed,
in as fears and desires exhumed,
that whence bliss currents are resumed,
we feel day and night, love’s delight,
bestowing upon us clear sight,
whereupon the false falls away
and God’s light becomes our mainstay,
with His love, wisdom and power
raining down as a bliss shower,
washing away the false ego,
delusions we did not forgo,
revealing soul standing naked,
in God’s lustrous domain sacred.
