Love Poem: Dear Nanny

Dear Nanny

Dear Nanny I wish for you to stay,
Stay and see me glow and grow old
The bond between you and me is unbreakable
I wish my home was your home

Those sleepless nights you hold me in your arms
Singing incomplete lullaby with some words swallowed with the big sleepy eyes widely opened
I wish my home was your home.

Waking up seeing you is still the sweetest memory
Your secret cuddles gave warmth to my bones
Your love dwells in my heart and inspires my soul
I wish my home was your home

My thoughts told me you were my mommy,
Thinking that my mommy was the nanny
Because every second you had me on your back
But I realized raising me was the source of your income
I wish my home was your home

Your smile and purity fooled the reality
The laughter and songs made me feel at home
I remember you used to kiss me secretly
So that mama won’t yell at you
She says your mouth stinks but what I smell is love that genuine love

I thought my poop was nice to smell with that smile on your face whenever you changed my diapers
but the smell was not that entertaining for now I can honestly smell and throwing up is to come

I wish my home was your home
That you could have stayed longer
And I would have bought you a house if that was your dream
Giving you a better life that was my dream
And writing you a poem is what I can afford
