Who are we any way , to think we can capture
the beauty of creation , a futile possesion
even the beauty of freshly cut flowers
soon wilt away , a reminder of fragility
Creation has given a natural tendency
we all showcase an exquisite weakness
our patriarch mentality would have us forget
exchange strokes of love for the stroke of the sword
