Confused and In Distress I Confess

I’m still singing this song after all this time;
And as my heart speaks in melodies of a blues harmonica;
The beat of the base drives me down and I know;
I know soon I will be that me that is helpless to forget you.

And as I dance baby; I dance to the rhythms of a love on fire
You’re not here but can you see me; do I feel you watching?
And my moves; do you know; can you tell;
They are my prelude to a driven desire

And through my fingers come the sounds of serenity;
That feels like being adrift on a cloud of blue sunshine;
Along with a gypsy style rendition;
That seems to join the mind to desire;

So do you hear me out there?
I may never give up.
You make me want to be more.
Can you hear the poetry calling?
