Love Poem: Come Fly With Me

Come Fly With Me

Let's fly somewhere, just us
Let's go without ado or fuss
Where music's in the street
Where I can love you long and sweet

Where we can sing the song
Of romance while the days are long
Where the sun stays up 'til nine
Then afterwards we'll wine and dine

To have you to myself
Exclusively, there's no one else
To stop the things I want to say
To tell you how I love the way

You sing, you dress, you so impress
You're smart, you're just a work of art
You're beautifully stunning too
The way you look, the things you do

I'd swim the ocean, drink a stream
If only I could live my dream
Of always being by your side
From here to there, from far and wide

And maybe you could me as well
Be in love with, I can't tell
But if you did I'd do a dance
And buy that quaint chalet in France

To one day live in, me and you
After we both said, "I do"
A yellow quilted jamboree
Of morning love and fresh coffee
