Christmas
As we sat down round the fire
To warm our hearts cause its Christmas eve
I couldn't help but write poems with the desire,
that all who read them would have a great eve
Cause despite the hard year we've gone through
We've been able to remain as one
With everyone pushing through
Hoping that next year will be a better one
As we sat down round the fire
I couldn't help but get lost in all those eyes
Of how they all glowed round the fire
Telling stories under the beautiful skies
Cause even though they're over 7 billion beating hearts
This are the hearts right here that beat for me
That when I'm down, the all feel the hurts
Cause they'd stop at nothing to help me
As we sat down round the fire
I was amazed at all who came
Grateful for everyone whose round this fire
Because not everyone gets to cheer on people who came
For just like any year, many families have lost loved ones
And some wont be able to even celebrate Christmas
But even for those who can't, should get time to cherish with loved ones
Cause its a special day, our Messiah was born on Christmas
