Formative days. Damian Hakim
Was born 2001 August 10th.
8lbs 7oz. Big baby boy! Damian
Lived in west Virginia with his
Mother Lucinda, father Carter
Hakim and his siblings. Now 2008
Young Damian was 7 years old.
Early morning school day! Damian
Refuse to wake up. His mother tried
To pull him away spanking him.
"Come on, Damian! You stop your
Nonsense!" He only snatched
The covers away. "Noo! I don't think
I'll be going to school today."
She picked him up with the linen
And took him to the shower and turned
The faucet on full spray.
He started screaming
High pitch. She stripped the covers
Away and stripped him down and Said
"Now bathe Mister!"
He yelled, "Why you do this to me ma!"
"Lucinda! I hate you!" She grabbed
And wrange his arm. "I love you
Damian and you are going to school!"
"TODAY!" She left him there to bathe

For a short time, when CJ practically
Bashed the door in. "Come on Damian
Dad's waiting for you. We waiting

Second floor apartment attempting

Sat in science class listening to the
Lesson the teacher was conveying.
Then she said to Damian, "Hello
Young man what is your name.
This was Damian first day in his new
Science and math class. He spoke
"I'm Damian Hakim." She remarked
"Oh, Damian Hakim I'm Ms. Ashley."
Then she said Damian why don't
You introduce yourself to the class."
Damian looked at her for a long time
She ushered him to stand up trying
To use her best persuasion. "Go
Ahead sweet heart." Damian rolled
His eyes then stood." And searched
The faces in the room. Then looked
Back at the teacher. Ugh! She's
Smiling fruitlessly convincing him.
He opened his mouth, "I'm Damian
Hakim and I'm 7 years old and I don't
Wanna talk no more." He sat down
The smart teacher said, "thank you
Damian that wasn't to hard was it?"
He thought "I can't wait for this day
To end! This teacher lady! Ugh!"
Finally lunch time! He was happier.
Now, in the cafeteria there was just
One massive room with 6 years old
7 and 8 years old. He sat at a lunch
Table with two of his class mates
Who flagged him down. A youngster
With a big curly afro and a pretty
Little girl with blue eyes and blond
Hair. The girl introduced her self first
"Hi I'm Jenah." Damian uttered, "hi
Jenah." Then the other kid said "I'm Papo."
Papo asked, "You wanna meet on
The Playground with me and my
Cousins?" Damian thought for a
A minute and growled "yeah, maybe."
Papo said, "Okay so umhm yeah
We'll meet after the bell okay?"
Damian said, "yeah, alright."
Papo punch his arm Saying,
Later on the Playground."
"Yeah Papo." Damian was done
Eating and went to the playground
Stood in the middle of the flipping playground
Surveying the scene as if he was
A marine. So wanted to go back inside
But Papo grabbed him by surprise.
Embraced him, "Hey Damian what
Took you? Here come meet my
Cousins!" He dragged Damian to
A group of older youngsters the oldest
Was maybe 12. Papo pointed to
Of the biggest kid saying, "That's my
Cousin Munchi," Munchi waved.
Damian waved back. The dude next to
Munchi is his brother, Mike." The
Kid sitting there by Mike, that's my
Brother Charlie, he put his arm around
A younger kid's should and grinned
And this little man right here is my
Cousin Paco." The kids cousins
Gave him fist bumps. Munchi
Squeezed his hand saying, "Welcome
To the DIABLO COUSINS, Cousin!"
The kids talked about their adventures
And thier misadventures wheeling
And dealing. Damian comically
Thought these Kids are criminals!
Papo mentioned how he stole a
Candy bar. Damian was relieved
To hear that so he laughed out
Loud. Papo became angry. "Why
You laughing bro!" He pushed Damian
"What's wrong with you don't laugh!"
"Now apologize!" It was Damian's
Turn to be angry but he didn't let his
Anger surface, Damian said,
"Oh, i...didn't mean to laugh. I waas....
Just Laughing at my self." Papo said
"Okay, You one of the cousins now."
Munchi pulled a switch blade from
His cargo pants pocket and handed
It to Damian. The bell sounded
Signaling them back inside. Two
Hours passed and the school day
Ended. They rode the bus back home.
The remainder of the day was a
Wreck. Since it was Friday Damian
Was able to stay up late with his
Brothers running continuously in
And out of his room. Finally sleep,
Time breezed by.
