Love Poem: Cells of Love : a Haemoglobin Harmony

Cells of Love : a Haemoglobin Harmony

Once upon a time, in a human's veins,
A love story unfolded, amidst life's strains.
RBC and WBC, two cells so distinct,
In the body's symphony, their love was succinct.

RBC, vibrant and red, carried life's breath,
WBC, valiant and white, guarding against death.
They met in the heart, where love often starts,
Drawn together by fate's intricate arts.

Their love blossomed, amidst the body's flow,
In a world of capillaries, where they'd often go.
Side by side, they fought battles untold,
Protecting the body, their love bold.

But tragedy struck, as one day, RBC fell ill,
Weakened and fading, against its own will.
WBC, heartbroken, tried to heal and mend,
But the loss was too great, their love couldn't transcend.

In sorrow and grief, WBC's spirit waned,
Its life force diminished, love's bond strained.
Together they departed, their tale cut short,
A love story extinguished, a bittersweet retort.

In the human body, their love did reside,
A fleeting romance, in a world so wide.
Though their lives were brief, their love remains,
A testament to the beauty that love contains.
