My candle of love
It's so hard to keep it lite
When winds of change want to blow it out
I need it's warmth
I needs it's glow
But I can't share it with anyone
It needs to only burn for me
But how when the gusts of negativity increase
I want to watch it brightly burn
But the flame of desire in me has faded
I can see it's dim light each time I lay my head down to rest
But there is no sleep here when the light wants to shine
The melting wax my pen
My heart no longer guarded
I crave this candle of love
I wish to nourish it's glow for you all to see
This is why I may be burnt
I may be to hot to handle
But anyone can tame this flame
I just need you to see me for all I am worth.
My candle of love is not just meant for me to light
It's for the whole world to see without my fear.
Thats why I choose to lite it everyday
