Does Love Still Exist in this world?
many people feel that love
is nothing but an illusion
in this cruel world of ours
nothing but a second hand emotion
as the old song put it
that love has no role to play
in the modern world
where everything has been reduced
to a commodity to be bought and sold
to the highest bidder
but I disagree
for I found my true love
when she walked out of a dream
and into my life
45 years after first dreaming of her
we are still together
still walking the path of love
in a cruel uncaring world
we somehow found each other
and I know that true love
still exists in this cruel world
