It took so long to adjust to life without her
Her presence in their home
Loved each other a lifetime
Now apart and alone
Everyday for the last four years

Catching Bus 268 at 9.30am
At 5pm returning home again
Tuesday was like any other
Though the bus trip home was not the same
Staring blankly out the window as tears fell
