Love Poem: Born Among Snowflakes Filigree

Born Among Snowflakes Filigree

I have a deep true love and bond with winters cold, born among snowflakes filigree; though, I adore all seasons that unfold, it is me- who holds my life's master key. I just love spring and all her pretty colours bright, and like autumn for leaves set free; oh, so many kinds of love that delight, born among snowflakes filigree. Oh, this journey is short and I dream of it each night, it is me- who holds my life's master key; though not easy . . . for living is an endless fight, just keeping love found is my plea. I loved my wonderous parents a millionfold, born among snowflakes filigree; though, they rest in a cemetery old, and it is me- who holds my life's master key. God has blessed me with love pure gold, and grandma's love I will ever hold; treasured my sister and childhood pony, my brother's bravery and grandpa's tea. I felt passion, desire, yearning and romance, true love was my reality; so, on marriage we took a chance, and holding our baby was just a glance. Born among snowflakes filigree, now, love waves from Heavens threshold; and it is me- who holds my life's master key. I also have an unconditional love for friends and pets, the key . . . is love with kindness like a jewel; it is devotion, endearment that has no regrets, love is never resentful, arrogant or cruel. Born among snowflakes filigree, with God's love shining in all my sunrises and sunsets, and it is me- who holds my life's key; so, take a chance as this life has no "love" guarantee. ___________________ August 21, 2022 Poetry/Ballad/Born Among Snowflakes Filigree Copyright Protected, ID 08-1482-523-21 All Rights Reserved, 2022, Constance La France Written for the Standard contest, The Meaning of Love sponsor, Anoucheka Gangabissoon, Judged 08/27/2022 Third Place
