Bond of Love Forevermore
All my life I had witness the intense passion
between my parents in every interaction.
They fought and made up with equal endeavor
yet through it all somehow maintained a level
of respect and regard for each other and revel
in the joys of love that held them so solidly together.
Yet I knew it took more than swearing to love forever,
But a spiritual bond to make it successful
bound together by
a thread so powerful strong
that no matter how hard it
was pulled, it never
seemed to break, but strengthened their
bond of love forevermore
