Bloomed

BLOOMED
I saw a vision in the early spring, A haunting vision of pure loveliness. Her silken hair cascading down her back, She sat there, lost in thoughts of who knows what. I coughed discreetly, guilty to invade Her silent reverie;, her private thoughts. “May I join you, every table’s full?” She smiled, “I’m sorry, I was miles away.” She smiled and I immediately knew That I would love her till the end of time. We chatted while our cappuccinos cooled. So many cappuccinos have cooled since, As our love bloomed from that first moment when I saw a vision in the early spring 3rd March 2023 B- Forms and Words Poetry Contest Sponsor - Sotto Poet
