Inviting hope to breathe a song
Across the night, toward the stardust
Smiles of vibrant dreams and peaceful
Leaves rustling through the glow
Moon’s joyous light, aspiring insight
Brilliant, alive – dancing, burning
Radiating delight through the spirit
Miracles of kindness, love and healing
Whispering grace to hearts and souls
Erasing the doubts, the darkness
Reflecting compassion, the wonder
Over the yearnings, the feelings
Hues both vibrant and stirring, joy
Gentling the thoughts with silence more
Alive than the embers who burn
With generosity so strong, like a storm
Blazing its way through the mind
Telling the world that there is plenty
In the giving of One who brought
To this world, both forgiveness and love
Salvation, assuring us…
It is hope, faith and love – these three
But love is the greatest of these –
The sigh of grace, a prayer – aching, longing
Yearning for the light to reflect the meaning
Redemption in the heart, deliverance from all harm
And when your race is done – freedom, escape
From the darkness, the fear and the past
Where nothing is as it seems and everything
Is about greed that battles with this need
To believe in the peace that comes to life
When His love shines from on high, exposing
All the sin, the wrong that He will cleanse us from
When He comes into our heart, bringing love
Bringing hope – bringing peace that is beyond
Words, restoring faith and stirring dreams…
With Him – there is the light that reflects belief
That comes to those who know that love is…
The answer to every prayer, each need, all they want
All they can see… is the power of love, the power
Stronger than anyone can possibly imagine, stronger
Than the feeling that hides in the shadows,
Reminding each of us – the many reasons we have
To feel so unworthy of this salvation He gives
Without conditions, without reasons or motives
He gives a love that is alive, a fire inside…
Roaring to life like the spark that ignites it,
The hope and the faith, the grace that stays
To remind us that Jesus is the fire who abides
On the inside, burning away all doubt…
With flames of grace that can’t be quenched
Glowing, sparks never erased
It is this love, from high above…
That silences the doubt and brings out
Joy that abides in those who know the new life
That comes to those who believe…
Jesus really is everything!
