Blazing Desire
just the slight intention of your hand against mine,
is enough to quench my thirst-
must I always reiterate in free verse and rhyme,
that you will always come first?
for better or worse in sickness and in health,
until death do us part-
for I need not riches nor material wealth,
just my soul in your heart.
you bring me ease and calm my troubled mind,
whenever we are together-
for we are beauty and passion combined,
and we will be lovers forever.
I need you more now than I ever have before,
so come close and ignite my fire-
I shall admit I could never love you more,
you fill me with blazing desire.
