Love Poem: Back Seat Boogie

Back Seat Boogie

Born in the back of a Buick,
The same place I was conceived.
My parents didn't have much,
But in love they really believed.

They drove all over the country,
In the Regal of my birth.
Whenever they got the chance,
They gave it all it was worth.

Parked in a vacant lot,
Or on the side of the road.
At every single rest stop,
Made love in their humble abode.

On top of the hood at night,
And under an overpass.
Sometimes they'd even do it,
While they were pumping gas.

In the middle of the day,
Or beneath a starlit sky.
They'd even do it driving,
As other cars passed them by.

Once in a traffic jam,
I want to make this clear.
They had some time to kill,
It's the reason why I'm here.
