Love Poem: Atmosphere

Atmosphere

He looks like September,
as tall as the trees.
Makes me want to be better,
talks to strangers with ease.
Wish I could be more like that,
but then he comes near.
Even when he just wants to chat,
he quite outdoes my atmosphere.

I don't know why
I even try
to be worth it
but maybe you're worth it...

And I know I do alright
being bigoted yet quiet,
staying mellow but strong,
black and white and all wrong,
cut to the heart but kind,
good with the rhymes,
soul reaching words,
unscathed and yet hurt.
I'm a walking contradiction split in two but you?
Fascinate me with your every move,
fill the world with your color, you do.
Paint the sky your own shade of blue...
enchantment drips out of every hue.

You're daring and spirited,
bold and fearless,
solar-powered and radiant
and you never hesitate...

Wish I could be more like that
but then you come near.
If I had the chance I'd try
to not fall for your atmosphere...

The feel of the air surrounding me is one of a kind.
I could fall for yours, could you fall for mine?
