And This Is What She Said

"AND THIS IS WHAT SHE SAID"

"it scares me Eddie. I'd drop
everything I have here just
to be with you."
"look," I said, I can't stop
you from getting married, to
be honest I'm not sure why
you'd want to but whatever.
don't you think it'd be a
good idea to come and see me
before you get married?"
"that's just it," she
replied. "I know I should but
I'd want to stay there, in
your arms, just knowing I
beat every girl that pushed
you away. I'd feel like I'd
won but at what cost?"
"this has gone on since we've
been kids, only now we can
control it. no one to stop us
and if it doesn't happen now,
it'll never happen. ongoing
for twenty years,"
I said.

that was the last thing she
had read, the last thing she
had said and then, silence.
yesterday I saw her pictures.
yesterday I saw her as a
wife.
yesterday she'd send pictures
of her and her new husband in
bed.

the caption wrote: FIRST
BREAKFAST IN BED AS
HUSBAND AND WIFE.

obviously this was a mass
picture message that had went
out.

it was then I got the message:

"I'm here with him but I
can't stop thinking about
you. I still love you,
I always have Eddie."

I gave no reply.

she married this poor fool to
forget me.
I was there, with her, while
she said her vows, while she
cut her cake, while she
danced, while she gave him
her pussy.
if she was to be judged on
her actions, getting married
to forget me would've made
her the victor.
she mentioned the cost of her
love but in getting a good-
night-I-love-you message from
her on her honeymoon, it was
clear to see, price was no
object.
