Altogether Lovely

Altogether Lovely

You are of truth my love, you are of truth.
You have given me no falsehoods
or puffed yourself up unseemly for
pretense, pride and gain.
You have shared your story, good and bad.
What you say is what you seem.
This integrity stirs my passion
and your honesty fuels the fire.

You are fine my love, you are fine.
Time has added to your handsomeness
and there is rest assured
in the softness of your beard
seduction by the quiver in your lips
while your hair, a snow garden of curls
smells of seasons and cologne.
your body gives off a magic hunger, satisfied only
by a caress.

You are rare my love, you are rare.
There is no fear in you.
as you have braved the thorny wall to find
the heavenly garden,
knowing the secret to the mystery all along.
Because of your openness, caring, and masculine beauty,
I love you with an intensity that puts sunlight to shame.
You listen to my heart
and are altogether lovely.
