Love Poem: Alone In the Dark

Alone In the Dark

Alone in the dark
Just you and I
Excitement abounding
We use our hands as our eyes

The velvety touch
Of your sweet lips
This flame burns unquenching
It began with a kiss

A moment in time
We wish wouldn't stop
You can't measure love
By the hands of a clock

Unwavering passion
That flows from within
I lust for your body
As we're pressed skin to skin

Exploring each other
As night turns to day
From the sight of your body
My breath goes away

With that look from your eyes
I run my hands through your hair
Kiss the nape of your neck
Then the lobe of your ear

You arch up your back
And exhale with a sigh
As our bodies unite
For the very first time

Through our veins pleasures flow
Like the purest of rains
With ectasy as our guide
We explode like champaign (my substitute for risque line)

Then lie in your arms
Till together we share
Another night full of passion
That can never compare
