Alive
you have planted in my heart these words that only u know best,
they jump from my spirit onto the page, and i let u do the rest,
there are days to write of happiness, and some of remorse discontent,
and with each word thats spoken, you allow me to see what i love and resent,
what needs to be appreciated, what i need in my life to change,
things that were hidden without any closure, my life was an empty page,
the reality of my losses shows there's much more love to give,
for when i see, it's not about me, i now can fully live.
For i know the plans i have for you, declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm
you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
