Afsaneh-Ha

My need for exceeding truer bliss
The tender charm to further this
Will cherish you, as I indeed retain.

If in between the love I grieve,
A friendship waits the pain I leave
The glory in you prides those I retain.

You are the passing, turn your head
Do not frown just smile instead
If showing, the unknowing I retain.

I said, "If words could compromise,
To change the way your tears arise!"
"When feelings were for us to hold,"
"Don’t fool yourself, a heart of gold "

You are the trait from the joy
Being you and not a decoy
Seek and you will find, this I retain.

You are more than what you see,
You are there, and I am me
Furthermore does chemistry retain.

You are the load and yoke
Bestowed to common folk
Survival at all costs I do retain.

You are the sunset and sunrise,
You are regret, but not despise
Forgiveness I retain.

In the form the fragrance leaves
Trace from which we all as thieves,
Stolen is the love that I retain.
