A Shadow of Two Hands
There you layed on the floor, we chose
different paths with one way doors...
Now in the sun is where you stand, a faded
shadow of our two hands..
What I write is what I couldn't say, now what
you read is just for today..
Two eyes that once saw the same view are
now so far away from what was once true..
Every wrong step I took taught me to dream wide,
to always believe and know we loved for the whole ride..
