Thickening fog hung beneath the willow tree
consumes dreams of your lost poetry.
From sandalwood-scented sleep,
I kiss you and weep.
Love songs will
keep,
lustrous still.
Silver lyrics creep
to gold dust dawn from the deep
creases of clouded sleep, where I free
thickening fog hung beneath the willow tree.

death, lost love, rose,
I shall nay know all the wonders - you hold
For all too soon the winds of winter blow
Scarlet petals withering in the snow
How cruel the breath that kills the velvet rose
Tears - that canst’ bear the thought of letting go
Forever frozen in this empty soul
A broken heart forever turned to stone
A broken stem left now to stand alone
Alas! I find that life is bitter-sweet
As I stand holding only memories
Of a rose blooming in the summer breeze
Here beneath this old weeping willow tree
Once I held the sweetest rose - ever born
Now – in my grief – I hold the bitter thorn.

love, spring,
Soft sunlight streams through Nimbus clouds
A sign, a foretaste of coming spring
When hills and fields bring forth rich foliage
From humble green grass to royal heather
Flaunting peacock colors to honor the day
As clouds release their crystalline drops
Lovers’ laughter echoes as they run for shelter
B’neath the old willow tree, they stand; lost in warm embrace
Soon, a hush will fall as sweet jasmine floats
When hungry lips taste the first kiss of spring

love, nature, tree,
The weeping willow wept and withered.
Lovers swore their love, carving hearts.
Initials replaced her perfect bark.
Pains of loves or lost loves embarked.
Each time young lovers sat beneath her bows,
She watched kissing and tender touches.
Then, out came the knife … OUCH!

A baby robin taking its very first breath.
They were young, in love
And knew no other
This was their moment, to be cherished forever.
Her body so beautiful, so delicate to touch
His masculinity soared over the sky above.
Entwined as ivy, united as one
They soaked in the passion of the blazing hot sun.
A girl's silhouette shyly covers her hand
As a starried eye boy becomes a man.

Wish a lovely wish and you will see
Sparkling dewdrops glistening of rain
Fields of flowers where tiny elves reign
Soaring gliding birds give rides for free
Chattering squirrels live in a willow tree
Gathering nuts for the long winter ahead
Scattering leaves to line their little beds
Twinkling teardrops light the sky at night
Dusting trails of diamonds glittering bright
Luminescent moon glowing in scholarly ease
Excellence of purity to be seen in the trees
Dancing angels carving beauty in all of life
Wending paths of love erasing life's strife
Close your eyes and count to three
Wish a lovely wish and you will see

longing,
Oh, whispering willow…
please lend me your weeping branch,
so that I may always cling to you-
Head on my forgotten pillow,
falling in the starving avalanche,
me, pretending we're not through.
Oh, whispering willow…
please lend your weeping tissue-
My hungry thirst, will you quench?
Me, pretending not to love you.

beautiful, love, peace, sun, today, tree, uplifting,
"The faces of pretty flowers will brighten anyone's day." By Poet
Today I took a walk down the street,
and found a beautiful flower garden.
I was in awe of the "Jewel" like flowers,
some stretching their heads over the white fence.
The "Gate" was open so I went in,
the bunny heard me "Mutter" heavenly place.
A weeping willow caught the sun in a "Shadow."

dark, death, deep, emotions, i miss you, loss, love hurts,
Beneath the sea-mist moon, surfing in sage ~
as minarets of chartreuse stars rise,
singing citrus cityscape chords
I feel my footprints waltzing
away from willow waves...
whistling a chorus
of heartbeats which
once whirled in
your scent.
Hear
me
as I
fade in sighs,
twinkling within
silver strands of sand ~
soothing each song of sin,
for, this Ophelia has lived,
knitting kyanite a capellas ~
wilting in a thousand lovelorn suns
and I'm a mere memory, breathing you...

you dried all my tears
i stand proud now like the oak---
no weeping willow
your splendid branches
wrap me into your shadow---
shelter from the storm
wind blows me down
your light lifts me up---
might i dwell in your arms?

best friend, cute love, funny love, giggle,
Stand by me in the fields of dreams,
Where the clouds part and the sunset light beams,
Hear the river as it streams,
Down to where it redeems
Stand by me where the flowers blooms,
Where the sun does not loom,
Out of sight is where the fairies zoom,
This is where the animals groom,
Stand by me under the willow tree,
Where we once fell and grazed our knees,
Here is where the grass made us sneeze
Where we lied and cuddled and squeezed

husband, love, marriage, romance,
Without words I follow you
Into the willow's sheltering shade,
Leaves softly swaying sweet welcome
Limbing a tree serenade;
Overhead song birds keep vigil
Watching love between man and maid.
Tambour rhythm of two hearts
Racing, impetuous and free,
Yearning for love's sacred moment
Secretly shared with a willow tree;
Two lovers tryst, my husband with me.

lost love, loveheart, heart, love, me,
Sensuous dreams, a love that was lost,
Wind over fire, rain after frost.
Willow trees blow, firecrackers spark,
whispers of love alone in the dark.
Lusterous hearts, undying love,
caressing your body, reigning from above.
Kiss me once my heart does plead,
kiss me twice, my soul shall bleed.
Raindrops patter in my face,
within my heart, I see his grace.
I love you more, he said in tears,
releasing his hopes, his dreams and his fears.
You'll live in my heart although I cry,
you'll live in my heart, until the water runs dry.

To woo your summers in playful hints

Your passions marigold
In musings gamboge of autumn's leaves
Fulfilling
Desires of snow white dreams
Kissing you as snowflakes are falling

High upon that willow tree
That's where I wanna be
We just go together like that
Just you and me
Way up in that willow tree
I met you on that sunny day
When the clouds were far far away
I love it when you touch me that way
How you run your fingers through my hair
Love is so crazy good with you
And I really want to keep it that way

happy, love,
How can I convince you that I love you?
Shall I climb the highest freezing hillside?
Shout that I love you as my voice echoes?
Feel my love burning with desire inside?
Shall I search for you across the wide world?
Perhaps I'll walk along the horizon.
I do not know exactly where you are.
Find you at sunset or at sun rising?
I would rather meander along paths,
Where wild nature is at its finest best.
Am I dreaming, or do I see you there
Under the willow tree? Now I can rest.
I amble towards you and ask for love,
I'll be faithful, a promise from above.
She smiled coyly, asked me to sit near her.

kiss, love, nature,
We meander off the beaten path,
A veritable sally,
Admiring the flight of lively swallows
Above the green vast valley.
Puffy white clouds form and reform,
Methinks, one looks like a galley.
The twittering birds in perfect harmony,
Look like a rally.
Sheep graze here and there,
How lovely to be able to dilly dally.
We find some rest beneath a shady willow
And steal a kiss from my pretty Sally.
One Kiss? What a poor show,
Finally, I could not keep the tally.
Enchanted and happy,
We just meander back to our alley.

tree,
Each spring when winter has trudged away,
I love to drive up to my house and see my trees in bloom.
The ornamental pear tree, so tall and dignified,
is like a bride in a gown adorned with white florets.
The ornamental plum tree stands stately too nearby,
her limbs bejeweled in a myriad of amethysts.
Behind them both, the cherry willow greets me
with leafy swaying arms arrayed in petals pink.
While her lower half hangs low, the top half of this tree
reaches for the sky wearing charms of white like snow!

At day's end a retreating sun banished
Awestruck we witness its closing farewell
Silently the last veil of hue vanished
Our woes amounting to mere bagatelle
Nightfall air transfixed as if by a spell
Overcome with a wave of emotion
Rose sublimely over the citadel
An opalescent moon set in motion
‘Twas a night of magical proportion
Willow trees swaying in the summer breeze
Billowing waves pulsating devotion
Surrendering unperturbed with such ease
A sumptuous spectacle up above
Reflected in a sea of divine love

peace,
“Shine until tomorrow. Let it be.” John Lennon and Paul McCartney
Kindness is what we need today.
Patience, love, and forgiveness too.
If people do not think your way,
try hard to see their point of view.
Be gentle as a summer breeze.
Be not a tempest bellowing.
Be the sea when after unease,
its tranquilness shines – mellowing.
Be not a tree stubborn to grow,
withholding the fruit it could bear.
Willow-like bend; let your hate go,
and behold your heaven’s first stair.
Take that first stair to heaven. See
more stairs that appear one by one.
To quote two’s wise words: “Let it be.”
Shine your light, and let peace be won.

analogy,
Ahh!
peering out,
never in
your words are whisper thin
like willow-silk spun
drying parched
on your skin
Ahh
but I read you very clear
every word every fear
indelibly etched
nose, mouth, eyes
words, words, words
Lies, lies, lies
blink once and I'll cease
or period
full stop
bleed
inside each crease,
it's your face, i see!
beautiful
it emasculates me
disempowers me
tirelessly
sees through me,
I have no words for you
my love...
they're gone... not a trace
I could save myself,
the agony of speech
and just peel them off your face

happiness,
SHe walks along the path with a SWING
HE holds her hand as they SWAY
Unknown to HER in his pocket a RING
will ask her to SHARE his forever DAY
She looks at him with a smile all UNKNOWING
From this moment in love with him she'll STAY
HE stops under the weeping willow TREE
SHE goes on tiptoes to kiss his face THERE
he gently PUSHES her away to SEE
A pretty BLUSH as on his knees with loving CARE
He asks her to marry him, hoping she will AGREE
A lifetime of love with him she will SHARE
