nature,
I love walking in dawn's emerging light,
when meadows are bathed in golden shimmers;
and the birds chirp a song of sweet delight,
with reflected hues of dancing glimmers.
The colored wildflowers wet with dew sway;
there is a promise of a perfect day !
I find an old tree with fluttering leaves,
and lay down beneath it's protecting limbs;
where delicate ivy here and there weaves,
and I think of fanciful dreamy whims.
Oh, time to explore another meadow;
for another whimsical lovely show !
Oh, must I leave this enchanted green place;
where every sweet scene is an embrace !

nature, seasons, summer,
He saunters in with a slow steady gait
gathering all of nature in his warm embrace.
The whimsical artist splashes colors to sky;
miniature airplanes and exotic shaped kites.
Vocal chords of moon beams strummed by crickets and toads;
a serenade through open windows of our humble abodes.
So light on his feet; ocean's glass dance floor;
leading sailboats to sea and lovers to shore.
His breath on your neck puts you under his spell;
caught up in his love, as romances swell.
His pulse beats hot through sun ray veins,
then he showers us with gifts of cool, fresh rain.
We lounge with him in fields and meadows,
and miss him as Fall nudges him deep in the shadows.

lilac layered flirtations sail
wings whimsical whiff my skin pale

music you breathe melodious
chorus of wind-chimes feverous
sounds, symphonic in gentle flail,
oh Zephyrus..
hands breezy - touch me delicious
flowers long-stemmed dance capricious
exhales enchanting do prevail
sighs satisfying without fail
licks sweeping softly amorous,

depression, love,
O my heart, why?
Why do you despair?
Why not be more patient?
You wish for the unwishable,
Love is but an elusive maiden
A wistful illusion…
Who has ever reined in the whimsical wind?
Who has ever ensnared the sunshine?
Who has ever fettered the waves of the sea?
Who has ever restrained color?
Who has ever confined beauty?
Forbear, my heart, make no such efforts,
Know you not
that love is fraught with longing and loneliness?
Why then,
Why do you yearn in vain?

confusion, loss, lost love, love, sad, me, life, love, me,
Why did you tell me "I love you?"
A knee-jerk birthed of fear?
A pandering to my ego?
Words I wanted to hear?
Why did you tell me "I love you?"
Later "I don't think I do?"
A whimsical slash of cruelty?
Ambiguous through and through?
Why did you tell me "I love you?"
Then argue the point for hours?
Bicker, snap and grow sullen?
Destruction of hearts and flowers?
Why did you tell me "I love you?"
Then erase every tangible clue?
Maybe you told me for fun?
Maybe because it was true?
Why did you tell me "I love you?"
To mean life and death to me?
If you please to confirm the truth
What a wonderful life this could be.

birthday, lost love, memory,
In the twilight, with red velvet clouds
I remember you
still imprinted on my mind's eye
when for a time, we were lovers
who blessed the morning sun
and blessed the evening skies
between
we wandered in whirling whimsical wishes
of wanton dreams
colored by hands, intertwined
around the brushes of love's heart
where we painted our faces
on the walls of our days and nights
It brings a smile
on this, the evening of my birth
as I watch the sunset, again
for the sixty-seventh time
in quiet reflections of our yesterday
finding a tear from my memory of you
wondering...if you remember too

She recites a loving novel with a wish and a sigh
She lights a single candle gazing through the night
Awaiting her loving hero to arrive in morning light....
Luminescent, Serendipitous, Melliflous in her Whimsical roll
She plucks a delicate flower and places it at the door....
Time slowly yearning pushing a moment through
Unfurling a banner of love upon the morning blue....

flower,
I’m a lovely daffodil, yellow like the sun.
See me in my garden spot; I’m the mellow one.
Nearby are my tulip friends; how I love their hues.
But a bright blue crocus has turned into my muse.
In the breeze when all we blooms tend to brightly sway,
I keep hoping that blue crocus wants to look my way.
Hummingbirds and butterflies are great to see around.
There must be a hive somewhere. Bees surely do abound!
There’s this little chipmunk. Such fun antics he plays,
but it’s never long enough that cute critter stays.
Since I’m whimsical, Daffy you may call me.
I’m being visited right now by a honeybee!

analogy,
a statement in their freedom of expression
the verdant undergrowth –
a green carpet, indispersed with yellow, white and rose flowers –
leaning away from the regimental lines of the centre lane of poplars
the tree trunks, a whimsical hue of lilac
a profound blend of renewal, early love, and spiritual wisdom
in the overall aesthetics
a contrast in colour on Newton’s colour wheel
the female figure fuses with the shades of the undergrowth
whereas the male figure mimics the upright form of the poplars
the rushed brushstrokes
a hurried comment on
echoes of social construct

farewell, goodbye,
Those days…when there was sunshine forever,
Still remains in my heart… it won’t fade… not ever.
The whimsical fantasy…when you were mine
And I was yours, when days were so fine.
Once locked into one world… draped in love,
Undisturbed…not even by the cooing of a dove.
Your smile that beamed unto my life
And shined it, and made smiles so rife.
But when such days end, thick and fast
I have nothing but thanks – oh, how lovely those days did last!
The Earth spins, and changes, and everything moves on
But didn’t think it so, that those days will be gone.
And now… I say with a bitter sigh,
I end my last letter, so… goodbye.

Summer's splendor
Is dreamer's gold
Hello, June
Lack of clothes
Feet without shoes
Gosh, what did I say
Heavy rain
Ocean winds ice cold
Slight storm 20.8 - 24.4 (m / s)
Temperature 12 °C
I repeat :
Summer's splendor
Is dreamer's gold
The climate's whimsical fluctuations
I'm soaked and cold
Atsjo ... echo of a sneeze
I feel absolutely alive
It's a gorgeous day
Tomorrow ...
For better or for worse
I love you no matter what

child, daughter, dedication, children, love,
Once upon a whimsical dream
Where precious buttons are priceless gems
Colors present like rainbow streams
All flavors, rich! All of them!
Once upon a whimsical time
Needing a button for her favorite coat
She waltzed into a dream, sublime
While admiring gems displayed on a float
So in love with these buttons was she
That her face wore an expression of awe
Smiling, the Dream maker agreed
That true love is what his eyes saw
Hurriedly, before she would awake
He wrapped a beautiful button, a gift!
As he knew there was no mistake
This gem of a button would truly lift

life, love, magic, philosophy, science,
I don’t think it’s foolish,
Simple-minded, silly, whimsical,
Naïve, and/or childish
To believe that love is magical.
So-called experts offer
No scientific explanations
That any would prefer.
Love wordlessly defies summation.
You know that I love you,
But that is so hard to quantify;
And I am loved by you--
I don’t need to know a reason why.
Some believe in magic.
Most believe in something up above.
Wouldn’t life be tragic,
If we all stopped believing in love?!

romancelove,
Will you whisk me
far away
from the only
life I've known?
Can we step
into the froth
and set sail
to a distant home?
Will we travel
light as gypsies
dancing jigs
to exotic tunes?
Can you teach
me foreign tongues
as the dawn breaks
into noon?
Will you love me
so completely
no other girl could
turn your head?
Can you promise
me fidelity
upon our
marriage bed?
Will you be my knight
and champion
and guard my heart
so true?
Can you love me
to eternity
if I say yes
to you?
***I beg forgiveness from everyone who reads this, I have nothing to say for myself
except it was kinda fun to write!

My presence is invincible
I am dominant and powerful
Overcoming life’s tragedies is emotional
Vanity is self love; you can say I’m boastful
It’s the beautification to my struggles
Self-worth is my devotional
I swagger
I sway and I strut
I go out into the world
And I kick butt
I grasp reality
Reach out toward authenticity
I am undisputed
Heavy weight in credibility
My imagination is whimsical
My love of life is musical
Since of humor is critical
For when life turns cynical
Life’s catastrophes tickle
When friends turn foe
Frenemies are fickle
They don’t stop my show
I vogue with my fashion
Saunter with style
I’m Hollywood happening
I LIVE OUT LOUD

I
wanted
to write
a hymn
for her.
A poem
that sings
her gentle
songs.
Prose that
justifies
and ignites
her eloquence.
I've endeavored
to carefully
piece together
the 26 letters
of the alphabet.
Rearranging
these slices and
strokes to
convey my
verdadero -
my vrai
for her.
But I can't.
For her
poetic alphabet
leaves
me
on tenterhooks -
breathless
and bedazzled.
She is
a treasure.
A perfectly
cut diamond.
And
when I
close my eyes
tonight,
I will inhale her
enchanting prose.
For I know
her beautiful heart
will always share
a soothing
sonnet -
a whimsical poem
or perhaps a
magical hymn...
from her
to us
for him
for me.

flower, love, nature,
As I danced with flowers on that morn fair
And stepped on green moss, floating on air
You watched from under the pine green
Fire in your eyes, the air serene
Face flushed, arms extended wide
In and out with blooms on both side
Flirtiest breeze caressing the untamed hair
Enchanting aroma of wildflowers on the air
I paused as you came near
Shining eyes a hint of fear
A yellow bloom you stuck to my breast
The tingle in my toes reached my chest
Whimsical, wonderful our dance entwined
Rhythm unseen, hands tightly twined
Shimmering flowers with dew or sweat
As raindrops fall, we are wet

Gossamer Shroud
Finery most precious.
Whimsical silk and all it's tales.
More than deep mythology.
So that woman may go naked,
while clothed.
Wearing nought,
but bright colored clouds.
Almost religious,
sericulture of it's knowledge.
Volunteering, I live to do so,
'Standing' guard over this secret.
Even today, being windy it is so.
And it is,
ever so much cooler because of it.

With force of faith, heart is no more skeptical,
When silence sinks and soft beats of love arrive,
I know love is actually magical.
Eternal is love, my flimsy heart shall thrive,
I believe wonders of love are whimsical.
Stones of sorrow shall silently crush to sand,
Yes, true love secretly holds magical wand.

Yet, no planning is compulsory.

The fantasy begins behind closed eyes:
I am entering a Summer forrest
Verdant green and whimsical....
The fantasy breathes..breahtless laughter
Filling lush, unencumbered life,
And we become:
Desire.......Abduction...
Resistance,
Seduction....
Capitulation.
Firm young bodies and enduring love,
Unending love...
With rich young men
Handsome into heartbreak
Reality...
Hopelessly devoted to the pleasures
Of pleasing me...
