Waterfall

cascading sheets of silver water spill incessantly into the lake thundering beauty before our eyes beckons us to bathe in radiance lost in froth we find ourselves engulfed by nature’s pulse, shimmering delight lost in love my heart is pounding too falling with the water - into you Written Oct. 30, 2014 for the SOME FORM OF CRYSTALLINE Contest of nette onclaud Now for A Strand (1063) Poetry Contest

A Divine Cascade

Glist'ing drops
Splashing into fine mist—
I become one with the waterfall.

Feeling joy
As droplets kiss my face
And enter my soul’s most sacred place.

Crystalline,
Anointing me with love,
Sustaining all life forms on the Earth.

Gratitude
For each divine droplet;
A cascading veil of purity.

Behind Those Whispering Pines

Vague traces of mystic embraces, Soft candlelight mirrors our faces. The sounds of the waterfall as limitless As our heated caresses. Whisper, another time, you love me in my ear, Your words rising to the to windy, starlit spaces. Come, join us in celebration, Hearts waltzing in rhythmic palpitations. Breathtaking you, breathtaking me. Blessed by God~ lovers forever to be.                     7/23/2021                       ~1-

Waterfall

From high up
The rushing water leaps
A daring dive into the unknown.

Unrestrained
It tumbles down, eyes closed
Savouring the adrenalin rush

Of bold youth;
It flows in breathless flight
Crystalline streaks of exuberance.

Deafening
The roar of fulfilment
As waters meet and avidly merge.

Sweet Paramour

I see the edge of your smile
and the tip of your varnished toe,
the waterfall of your flaxen hair
that makes your shadow grow:
Love! I am the one, who loves
you as the day.
To lose you makes me shudder
like a mast on a blustered  day;
Keel-haul and whip my hopeless love
Send my soul to hell
But let me call before I die,
Love! I am the one.

When Time Stands Still

Leaping in barefoot abandon
Soaring every which way from Sunday
Laughter effortlessly exhaling cool breezes.

Lounging on nature’s lush carpet
Silhouette illumined by carefree serenity
Lapping up rays and shining them back

Licorice sticks and crackers and brie
Sweet plumpness of kiwi and mango and peach
Licking ripe juices off contented grin

Long luscious showers in waterfall glory
Swirling delightfully playfully pure
Lingering loving caresses of freshness

Last blush of daylight’s electrical charge
Sunset yields gracefully generously kind
Lights flicker syntax where space enfolds meaning

Lay here beside me
Savor my dream
Let my enchantment touch yours

Treasure Shining

A silver creeping mist
falling one cloud
capping the mountain

Like a great waterfall
in a faraway distance
I began dreaming gold

Inside the vision silver fingers
pointing out spears slowly
crumbling forward

Embracing one pure gift
relic treasure memory of love
Warm sweet glowing jewel in deep beauty
Happiness inside shining diamond
joy beaming your sunshine baby a star
lighting one gem brightly dazzles a pearl

I drew with a 6/stepping up waves to 9 syllable count then we reach cloud 9/9/9 10 is the perfect ending 10 out of 10 a mad way I am trying to draw a jewel

Love Is

...love is comparable to a waterfall.
Forever running; never a drought.

Love is true, pure, and natural:
Up-springing life, over and over:
Filled to the brim of the bank,
Everlastingly at it.

Love continuously flows
From one temple to another:
Heart to heart.

Love is...

Endless Love

A heart as pure as the translucent water
Free flowing like the cascading waterfall
A heart as bottomless as the ocean.

Open like the heavens that sparkle at night
As endless as the ever expanding universe
With no beginning or no end.

A voice that flows on the open winds
Calling my name on each gusty flow
Eyes that drown in crystalline pools.

Blue as the sparkling waters hue
A voice as soft as white fluffy clouds
       That flow effortlessly and endlessly.

 Words only spoken with love
Woven into the stitches of time
An endless love to be all mine.

December Dunes

Dear December, forgive my silence,
I'm tired of singing to the moon,
watching the sea swallow flaming rays,
cloaked in shame, am I to take the blame~
dragging clouds of doubt with silver shadows cast?
I never knew words could weigh heavier than dancing diamonds.
Yet, tonight I gaze beyond trembling skies;
perhaps, in their liquified state, metaphors do flow.
So, wait for me when twilight dims,
as poetry breathes your name, amidst darkness…

-
~Forgive my silence
    Mistreated
  Waterfall chandeliers
  Card of lies
  Silent Epistles
  Cerulean seclusion
  Sakura Raindrops
  Heart of time
  Poetry breathes you
Would you still love me ..

After the Storm

I watch from my bed as the wind howls,
Twisting the trees into unnatural shapes.
Too much water falls from the sky,
And cascades over swollen gutters,
To surround my house,
In a waterfall veil.
The wind howls and screams,
As it forces it's way,
Through tiny spaces in my window panes.
Mayhem is outside my window.
And I am warm and safe
Thinking of you
With a smile on my face.
Nothing can take away
That I am loved by this man
With his song in my heart
He pulls me in tighter
As if to protect me with his words
And I am as filled with calm
As tomorrows sky.

I am in love.

The Day We Met

I recollect the day we met, my dear
When the air was wintry warm and clear.
The garden was a paradise of perfume,
And many flowers were in bloom.

Daylilies and columbines flourished around the pond
And tall sedge grew here and there and beyond.
Littered everywhere were lovely lotus flowers,
Beneath goldfish and calico swam together for hours.

A small wooden bridge took us to a small bench,
So soothing I heard a waterfall drifting down a trench.
We talked and talked and knew love was there.
I promised I will always be true for I really did care.

House

Quote By Poet "A house is made with wood, stone or bricks. A happy home is made with love."

A house can be big or small,
made of wood, stone or brick with a big wall.
The yard may have a pretty waterfall,
the birds will love this watering hole.
A happy home is made with love,
it has been sent from up above.

This Glad Day

My love and I
Exchange kisses
Seated on a bank,
Under the shade of a nameless tree
For us.

Quiet surrounds us
And
We
Watch
Fishermen - two,
Casting,
And we
Admire
An artist mix paint
Brushing her eye's beauty
On Canvas...

Distant chatter!
Cyclers trudge uphill,
Boaters paddle nonchalant.

My love and I
Under a nameless tree,
For us.
A waterfall!" I exclaim...
How excited I am, and we without camera
Or canvas...
So I pen my eye's beauty and
share with you, this glad day!

Through Me

MY thoughts they go far but yet they never leave me!!!! Loud out spoken words
trapped in a frame of insane insequritys, My emotions leak through my soul
like a
waterfall but theres nobody there to catch them. You stare at me blankly but so
firmly wondering why and where all the hurt is from i tell you to look slow but love
me fast!! Im scared of you your heart and its beat, i push hoping you will pull. My
thoughts of you are deep in my head i can barley sleep watching the moon take
over the sun and i say to my self this is where it all begun.......

Be a Fearless Poet- Repost

Be a fearless poet!
Slide down the cool, rushing waterfall of
your own words.

Turn off all the comments!
Be the sole keeper and master
of your beautiful works.

You and only you know the deep,
velvety softness of your poem's
meaning.

If you truly, truly know this,
getting no comments is not a
thing to set you reeling.

The warmth and love of God's
support is always there first.

Surcease from looking to be the
best.

You are already a top winner in
His poetry contest.

To God, you are always.....His
Poem of the Day!

Of Tears and Trophies

Let your tears of joy fall!

They are a poet's soul's rushing waterfall.

If a great poet, you feel more more than most.

Your desire for mediocre poetry is not your thirst.

Of fearless, true, reality in poetry is your infinite search!

You write for the sheer love you have for your artistry,

Realizing completion~you have no need for an invisible trophy!

Sound of Nature

(waterfall sounds.... birds chirping)

a peaceful cello melody sings joyful
resonating in perfect pitch --- the pianist's heart
a praying soul within the strings echoes
reverberated with nature's gaiety --- the cellist's smile
smooth movement of hands and fingers
music is flowing through each rising notes
a pianist's touch is sincere
hovering bow weaving love in the air
parting black clouds silver landing rays
a cellist's voice is pure
a soul doesn't need difficult words to express a feeling
one simply knows ...
...With God's Blessings...

She Has Gone

Standing there alone at the graveyard
Calling yearning memories of the past
Can't stop his tears , that's truly hard
She has gone , What a dote didn't last!

Shrouded by thoughts , downcast eye
Her voice is still beating in his ear
She was singing like a bird under the clear sky
When he played harp and waterfall was near

Can't forget these hoary promises to be together
On good and bad , To make love their guide
He just wanna say he will be loyal forever
Until his soul meets her on the other side

One Day

You will want to come back one day
Like the crashing of a waterfall
Hard yet soft at the same time
With variations in light
Swirling, reflecting off the water

You will want to come back one day
Like a butterfly on a journey
Flying high, steadfast
Silhouetted by sunlight at dusk
Elegantly shinning

You will want to come back one day
Like a trees search for light
Extending it's branches directionally
Frantic to find the missing sun

You came back one day
Patina beautiful, aged gracefully
Like the floors in our home
Beautifully antiqued like our lives

Love Isn'T

I know I'm awake
I know how to open my eyes
But i don't know why i can't see

I feel time moves on
I hear the clock ticking
But I never felt time stops

I've seen the burning sun
stung by the burning cold
But never faced a tornado

Touched many colors
never seen a rainbow

seen the Nile
crossed the seas
But never been under a waterfall

Read the book many times
never turned over the page

Walked in many directions
never tried falling down

Never had to think of what I didn't
Never tried to change what I wasn't

Now you know all the symptoms
Now you know what love ISN'T.

My Love For You

It started as a raindrop
A seed inside my mind
Then turned into a little pond
It grows stronger by time
It evolved to a lake
It’s surface crystal clear
Then into a waterfall
A rushing in my ear
Then became a river
Running to the sea
But now it is an ocean
Roaring inside of me

Forbidden Love

Curly blond hair staring at the sun
Striking blue eyes facing the darkness
The shade, the pain
Looking at the unforgettable
The unseen, the unlovable
She has found her feet stuck in sadness
She has found her heart chasing her love
He holds her happiness in his hand
He holds a tear in his eye
But the blond-hair-blue-eye girl...
She has a waterfall streaming down her face
