Romance Unexpressed

Romantic love unexpressed,
A silent strife,
Held close throughout
A guarded life,
It holds a beauty,
Soft,and deep,
A special charm,
Secrets keep.

Bright Flower

Eyes blinded with the light
My heart felt what I saw
Brighter flower among withered ones

Joy and happiness caressed my mind
Full of words but tongue tied
But couldn’t let the feeling go unexpressed

In my mind was a jungle of questions
In my heart, answers seemed to be obvious

For once I felt the sweetness of my own thoughts
My soul was gradually driven into the world
The world of her love

Finally I found the match of my heart
The happiness of my soul in sorrow
Remedy to my wounded heart

The love of my life.

Dear Grand Dad

When you died
     We wept and cried
So much you left
     Inside unsaid
Buried with
     Unexpressed regrets
Nothing to do with
     Your grand children
You adored us
     Unconditionally
Our youth our zest
     Our innocence
No judging ever
     Pure candid love

We gathered
     When it happened
And I was the one
     Who insisted
I’d sleep in your bed
     I felt so privileged
Never doubting
     You had visited
And kissed my head
     Watched over me
Nestled there tiny in
     The palm of your hand
Keeping me warm
     All night till morn

The Gift of Tears

Tears bring relief to a heavy heart
A heart clogged with unspoken sorrows
Why do we wish that tears would depart?
Tears heal the soul like a lush, green meadow

God has given us the gift of tears
No tears that wet His feet are wasted
Cry if you must; without shame and fear
Christ comforts the broken-hearted

Divine tears fell at Gethsemane
Can you feel the anguish of Christ's tears?
Tears and blood mingled in agony
Because of Christ, to God, we can draw near

Tears brought relief to my heavy heart
A heart clogged with unexpressed sorrows
God's love has caused sorrows to depart
God's love gives me hope for tomorrow

Half Love

She did not understand my true love
I did not express my true feelings
as to what she is to me in life
she did not open up to me
nor I did tell her
and it remained
unexpressed
half love

Unhe kadr kahan hamare pray ki
Hamein fursat kahan is baat ki
Ke hum unhe yakeen dilate
Ki wo kya hain hamare
Ye jaan paate
Bus reh gaya
Yeh banke
Ek afsana
Adhure
Pyar
ka

An Abstract Heart

There she is,
without emotions,
 feelings buried deep and unexpressed
 no revelations
leaving everyone to guess.

What caused a broken heart
 love set apart
a tender kiss goodbye
 leaving one to cry
never understanding why.

Depth Charge

Away, away, yet bound for love
And what, this hindrance hounding still
For feelings left but unexpressed
I hold back, yet against my will

And though I voyage in my search
I touch but what the surface knows
Afraid to plunge into the deep
                       Exploding as this feeling grows

But forge ahead and not hold back
I must if love is to be found
To reach my destination and
to not again run ship aground

My Old Age

Crawled back my haggard old age
Into a jubilant youth of a man
Just past late midnight and asked me
What was the wrong did you do?

Being baffled and confused I remained silent
And kept looking blank for a moment
Then I closed my eyes to tell him the truth
But I did not as I fear he would not come again
To listen to me what is kept unexpressed

My young age is like my child
Jolly, cherubic and energetic
Innocently asks me sometimes
What is the wrong with you and mother?
I could tell him, easily, the straight truth
But I could not, how could I?
Rather the right thing would be to say
My old age is the product of love of my youthful age.

Look Inside My Heart

Look inside my heart to find
My love, it pours like wine.
Unexpressed, it swells within.
Mere words cannot define.

It spills like rain and overflows,
Each drop like burning fire.
Sweetened by Your Spirit's fruit,
Perfected by desire.

Your gift of Grace illuminates
My love, in brilliant light.
Immersing me in cleansing streams
While finding Your delight.

In upward gaze, my eyes behold
Your Glory, filtering through.
I wrap it in a bow of love
Then give it back to You.

Where clouds appear in halos blue,
And meek join with the strong.
That's where I find the Heart of God
And where my heart belongs.

Whispers of Passion

Why do we whisper words in moments solemn Why your fingers rest Upon my lips…as if To postpone them Is it fear of losing something dear Something private Something precious Something best left Unexpressed Something shared psychically Between us How silent the heat of passion How loud the beat Of hearts pressed tight How softly do we gently fashion Emotions… Out of naught but night Can lust be tossed By silence broken Can love be lost If words be spoken… So why do we whisper My dear… when there’s no one …Near to hear…

Invisible Shooting Stars

The beauty that is unnoticed
Shooting stars in the daylight
Can you hear their sound?
If you whisper to your heart

The beauty that is unexpressed
Burning love within your heart
Which is never confessed
Your dream, concealed in a pot

All fallen stars, unexpressed love
We never imagine how beautiful they were
Whisper to your heart to have
Real beauty be realized

Eclectic Words

sWords>>>> Cruel Intentions Cruel and piercing words insinuations that wound leaves the heart bleeding Careful Words…… talk, listen, ponder for many speechless moments share secret wisdom Unspoken Words…. Sometimes in silence, I behold Unspoken words of brightest gold Thoughts are still; unexpressed Like sparkling stars, these are best Words in Song……. Some share love with roses But I share mine in song For the power of music is passion So my melody lingers on Words in Poetry.... shimmering ideas etching a lyrical spell deep inside my soul poetry that burns within begging for release

After Us

After Us.
A world without man
Can’t exist in its vastness
A dream undreamed
When great cities are quarries
And nights are utter horror

Unrecorded dread
Mother elephant trumpeting
Survival to day
In a time that is godless
Phase is seasons of the vain

Will it be better
When storms blow without warning
And love is absent
When rivers flow and fish wake
Words are echoes of the past.

We are not to know
As humanity is silenced
Savannah grass and lions’ pride
Will continue unexpressed
No one will hear love’s echo

Perfect Bubble

and I close my eyes
to consider how perfect
this little universe
that we’ve created
this tiny bubble
that holds just you and i

its perfect balance
of comfort and mystery
knowns and unknowns
words said and unsaid
longings unaddressed
that hang in the lurch
that tint every conversation
that grow in their silence
pulsating unexpressed

think how tragic it might be
to lose some day
this perfect little universe

''Immortal Beloved'': Translated As ''Eternally Beloved''

Immortal Belovéd, if in despair
we grow listless with Love's unmet desire,
and high emotion oft' marks our affair,
we fail to love; and begin to expire.
'Ere long, lest our unexpressed Love's well fed
     (often), it'll thus take another lover;
for man loves woman, and woman loves man:
but Love discards them both when it's over.
But, with hope, Love can over-run fore'er
     (for us), remain, and survive misfortune;
to quit now would be our only error:
therefore, let us thus make our bond immune?
If Love can o'erflow and be ne'er-ending,
Beloved, then we, too, are worth defending.

Somewhere...

SOMEWHERE...

Somewhere thoughts lonely in
Fields of desire scatter about
Like children laughing softly;
Eden be the delicious end

Somewhere tremendous strength
Rests on courage of emotion
That rises into hemispheres
Where power gently merges
Dreams and desire

Somewhere unexpressed shame
Molests me with such anguish
My womb ached while grief
Imparted anger; love cried
Tears of pain

Somewhere hand in hand we walk;
Too unbearable the end
Too deep the pain
So much—and yet
Love is easily missed

Somewhere I remain within the thoughts
Found in every withered desire;
Midnight murmuring sinister delight
Silent shadows sleep now

The End of Civility

It began with a careless remark
Uttered by one of the dinner guests,
Which ignited fury's sudden spark!
Perhaps it was better unexpressed.

Politeness went out of the window,
Good will left by the door,
Late afternoon lost its ruddy glow,
In the wake of the uproar!

Amid the August mess so fine,
Dinner, uneaten, grew cold.
Trembling glasses, spilled the wine;
The day grown quickly old.

Like butterflies, were all disguised?
Did they hide themselves so well?
Was it here today that love died,
Or long before the dinner bell?

Mockingbird sings to a summer night-
After the end, no turning back.
Though darkness is but a shadow of the light,
It is profoundly black!

Love Factually

Step away, step further back
you unexpressed feelings are more than I lack.
Once you said you loved me,
whispered in shallow breaths cautious and resentfully.
It was more a trap than a declaration
 that inspired my brief anticipation.
In your eyes the truth was clear
you simply had too much beer.

Precious Bonds

With these special folks,
Few words do I require,
Together we dance and sway,
Expressing our hearts' desire.
They don't speak to me every day,
But when we do converse,
We share our deepest thoughts,
Guiding me from bad to worse.
They speak from their own past,
My heroes, my trusted guides,
I cherish them deeply,
Yet rarely the love inside me resides.
Expressions left unspoken,
They're truly the finest around,
Friends from my childhood days,
Forever by my side, profound.
As their presence fades away from sight,
Their need grows stronger, day and night,
Love unexpressed, a burning desire,
Missing them deeply, their friendship I admire.

Why

Why? one might ask.

Dreams and desires, reflections and perfection...

Why not a single word of encouragement, or reflection, and perfection...

Dreams and desires, just only reflections of guilt and fear Why?

Every word unspoken unexpressed would- a, could -a , should -a drama...

Know reason or purpose no reason nor rhyme...

Why's and wherefores to be found...

Why
disposable wisdom unspoken, unexpressed, friendship, hope, love...

Why
damned if you do, damned if you don't ...

You hate with passionate dislike...

Why you ask, yourself for what reason or purpose...

Why

What Is Love

How you read each smile
trading ‘Goodbye’ for ‘Be safe’;
What is love? It’s you;
Knowing what I truly need
just from one quick glance at me;

That extra minute
when you hold onto my hug
and I let go first;
Speaking my exact language
without me saying a word;

It’s silent moments
when you sit right beside me;
My unexpressed thoughts
you instinctively know them;
Love is everything you do.

Love of An Hour Lost

Consider her small tears upon a paper,
By unexpressed words of a lover;
Can you believe keys to a pianos dusk tune,
Were once hands of a man that held a thing of beauty?
In a thing that sparked in humans heart,
Swiftly flew away, not even to be heard again by fate.
An unheard bliss,
That knew not of a lovers kiss,
Now knows no love, and of no rest.

Unexpressed feelings

What melts my heart?
when he warms my cold hands during winter
when my love , engulfs me in his warmth
when I get carried in his arms like a favorite toy
like a child carrying his favorite candy
the place where I act like a spoiled brat yet
won't get judged ,yes I am loved like that..

What's Joy?
being able to be a part of his happy life
everyday together we rise and shine
when situations become tough we both whine
spending with you has become joyful and cheerful
having you is what makes me feel grateful.
