Sunsets In the Blues

.He walked in silence to the corner of my heart He lit a candle~ fire in a room once damp and dark His words were gently spoken His love was loud and clear His arms were unexpected A fearless Chevalier My strength was getting weaker My pulse~rate running low He sheltered my emotions and fortified his soul He helped me win the battle against solitude's blade His kiss bestowed upon me His palm upon my faith A faith of a new promise on paths of pastel hues Of jasmine scents and marigolds Of Sunsets in the blues.

Strength In Unity

We thought we were strong
Something happened to change that.
We simply were wrong.

Angel with magical cat
Sent us unexpected love
We were truly glad of that

Sensing they came from above
The love they brought was honest and true,
Unconditional joy, practically unheard of.

They returned to heaven, when they were due.
Inspired unity first, brought us together as one.
They had converted us, stronger and true.

Thanks to a lot of teamwork and a bit of fun,
All of us together, much stronger as one.

A Moment In Time

When true love comes unexpected
Knocking gently on the door
And I open, then you enter
I stand spellbound on the floor
There is light that blinks and flickers
While the shadows dance around
Every heartbeat rhythmic music
Every breath heavenly sound.
Should I move or break the silence
Take your hands, look in your eyes?
I dare not disturb the moment
Where profound enchantment lies.

Which Poem To Read

WHICH POEM TO READ?

Adore a poem that fascinates and entices me
Touching each heart string with sadness or glee
Poets that pen imaginatively and bring,
Fantasy to life, love poems now that's my thing,
Then, look for a read with breath taking scenery!

Like it when Poets of themselves describe,
To this kind of poetry I ascribe,
Look for writes, in which I see
The crazy, creative, arty side of me
Or an unexpected ending,I enjoy and prescribe.

A New Day

A NEW DAY

The start of a brand new day,
  Another beginning,
A fresh start in the morning
  What will today bring?
Will it bring rags or riches?
  Nobody knows for sure.
  What unexpected things life brings,
  But harmony peace and gentleness,
  Who could want more?
Respect, good wishes and kind words,
  Is important and we adore.
  Gentleness is needed,
And helps you through the day,
  Caring and gentle people,
Who have good things to say.
  Making a peaceful world,
  Is important to us all,
  Love, respect and honesty,
  We need forever more!

Our Fruit Flirtation

You hung two big cherries on my ear.
I was delighted with the red earring.
The unexpected jewel was shining and clear
As your eyes – insatiable and dreaming…

Then you put raspberries on my palm,
And held a molecule close to my lips.
That orchard was wonderfully calm,
You could recognize my simple needs…

And I picked a sweet, ripe gooseberry,
And gave you it with extraordinary grace.
I was grateful to you for the red jewelry,
I touched the gooseberry flesh on your face…

rapt in stillness
awaiting the unexpected

Unwanted Things

Unwanted Things.

A car wreck.
A kid, unexpected.
An absent father to be.

A cheater that brought you,
a sudden health risk.
A divorce.

Car troubles.
Work issues.
Financial burdens.
Bad health,
that effects you,
and…
or…
those you love.

These are a few,
of my un-favorite
things.
There is no song,
about these,
by Julie…
although I read her story,
and she
had a hard life
too.

Unexpected Love

i never thought this could be.
wanting someone i thought wasn't meant for me.
hmmm... beautiful as can be.
never to kow that they were my fantasy.
i'd voice my feelings but dare not to.
for fear of what may be my outcome due.
nope. . . i'll just keep it to myself
in hiding hope that it'll go away or i'll need help.
why would something like this have to happen to me?
why couldn't this just be a story told to me?
i'd rather it be so, cause my heart hurts.
i see him day to day acknowledged by the term "grandmother".
when all the while i really wish he were my lover.
but i guess this is how it has to be...
cause unexpected love has fallen on me.

Overcome

OVERCOME

I’m a tiny human flicker
In whirling winds, losing light quicker
My flame glows glum, think I’m really done.
Overcome…

I’m a frail glade blossom, that in free air moves
Unexpected thundering mammals stomp with plundering hooves
I’m in the dirt, in a breathless stun.
Overcome…

I’m dropped in a boundless ocean
A collective being notion, passionate movement of erotion
Powerful sheet of love, hardest rocks my waves shun
Overcome…

Mountain of a spirit, sturdy in every little stone
Fortress of standing wisdom, timeless, never alone
Striving to transcend: hard to climb and only reached by some.
Overcome…

I Just Want To Say I Love You

When I wake up every morning, I wish to see your face.
When I get home in the evening, I want you in my arms.
I wish to leave you presents and take unexpected trips.
I just want you to love me and to give my heart some peace.
For the love I want from you is forever and always.
I don’t know who you are and I feel I never will.
But I just want to say, “I love you” today.

Welcome My Ghosts

THAT I have tried and succeeded is only in great measure
That you have been there with all my fears and displeasure.
Holding my cramped heart and swollen hands is how you have
Saved both my mind and spirit – the soul; still intact down
By the emptying rivers that lead to unexpected consequences.

And to weep while watching the death of a perfect day and to
Realize that birth was only half that day ago is sobering:
We watch each other’s eyes while laying on our sides and
Breathing in cadence I tell you that I am a fortunate peasant
And you the Queen who has welcomed by Ghosts.

The Beauty

I'd rather not relay on heavy words
to weigh the beauty in a proper way.
A third of human languages, two-thirds,
nay, all of them would never outweigh
the heft of weightless beauty on the scale
of ruthless time. Eternity will measure
a downfall, a moon, a nightingale,
a hug, a kiss, a tenderness, a pleasure,
an unexpected daybreak. Farewell,
my poor weighted love. Abiding time
is going to put its deadly spell
on every stanza, meter, form and rhyme.

But you are an immeasurable form.
When beauty comes I wonder where from.

Purple Passion and Peace

A grain of sun at sunset, and a drop of rain met~ without having any eyes, they exchanged glances with their hearts as well as having no lips, they swapped kisses with their ideas~ having no arms, they morphed into a single drop of violet love, a love so pure and spotless that the stud cosmos found it impossible to comprehend... Perhaps this is why words deal on, unexpected meanings. when two souls would rather be alone~ must remain pure for fear of messing up themselves using useless words willing to love one another In the gold of stillness...

Sparks Will Fly

Eyes glare of
the unexpected,
staring far too long
at the person that
they love.
the feeling
between them
is strong,
sparks fly
across the air
letting people know
that when eyes
stare towards
each other
they soon will
start to glow

Sleeping Beauty Crisis

the rain becomes autumn
and autumn becomes rain
there is a Gold Surviving System
(GSS) around the brain
with unexpected creatures
who lift the modern burden
of being so involved
in glass rotating hours
curriculum vitae sleep
and we call this LOVE
and we fall in a drop
among yellow leaves.

It Is You

There is something I cannot help but see,
Every time you look into my eyes.
There's always a smile when you look at me.
There is only truth; there is no disguise.

But in all of these unexpected days,
It has been you I have loved all along.
It's all come in this unexpected way.
Could it really mean it's where I belong?

There's no longer any more mystery.
You are the home my heart searched for so long;
This is finally very clear to me.
And it is you I have loved all along.

And I'm filled with the sweetest devotion,
Your love poisons my veins with emotion.

Betrayal Is the Bitter Potion

Betrayal is a bitter poison
Hearts that love sometimes endure
At times there is no reason or rhyme
Yet, it always cuts deeply for sure

Betrayal is the bitter potion
Served by your sweetest desire
No reason or rhyme is there at times
Some will say the universe conspires

Betrayal is the unexpected
Un announced, knocking upon your door
At times there’s no reason or rhyme
It causes mayhem; it kills the joy

Betrayal is a silent killer
Insidious, it creeps in your bones
No reason or rhyme is there at times
Beware, it's a demon on the roam

Goodbye

You left us on the Fourth of July
Now my heart is filled with unexpected pain
I remember when you would say to look at the sky
To find the moon, now that is on memory lane.

You would sing us the sweetest lullaby
Even though you were far away
And simple phone call to pacify
The miles traveled in a day

But ever since the day you've been gone,
I've succeeded in many things you'd be proud of
It has been so hard for us to move on
I just keep thinking of you up above

No matter the miles that keep is apart
You will forever and always be in my heart.

We Met

I met you just today, At an unexpected time, And we talked. I shared with you today, Sweet memories of joy, And we laughed. I walked with you today, On crowded streets, And we rested. I wined with you today, Dark eyes across the table, And we touched. I left you just today, ‘Twas the sweetest farewell, And we parted. I remembered you today, Soft eyes in the sunset, And I cried.

Beyond Beauty

I whewed unto myself
I whewed unto who cares to listen
I screeched unto them
I warbled unto all

She is a beauty to behold
But beyond beauty
My dear country is suffering
She is suffering from . . . megalomania

My expected willing whee
Became my unexpected unwilling wheel
To which I wee unwillingly
At the sight of the whittle

Whence forth is my whet to Whelm
My willingness to willingly will my will
To my beauty beholding beyond beauty
My dear country is
She is . . . stealthy coquettish.

I'm Glad I Stopped To Dance

It was an unexpected notion
That came across my mind;
To take you by the hand
Then sway as two entwined.

It was a flood of fond emotion
That compelled my heart to move
And then within a moment,
All distractions were removed.

It was you and me together,
Floating lighter than a dove.
Letting turns and smiles beguile:
For seconds lent to love.

If tomorrow all is taken,
And I don’t get another chance,
I’m glad I seized the moment.
I’m glad I stopped to dance.

*an Unexpected Good-Bye*

Why is it terrible things
Happen to the ones we love most
The ones who never complain
Who never brag or boast

A day prepared too soon
A good-bye unexpected to say
He's in all of our thoughts
And in every prayer we pray

Some may question why
And long for words unsaid
But he's gone somewhere special
Walking on ground we've yet to tread

An exceptional individual
Impossible not to love
He's no longer with us
But with the Lord above

Being With You

Being with you is so special
Finding love
For the first time
When it seemed impossible
Our love grows every day
It shines so unexpected
Getting more intense than before
Through the toughest times
Growing stronger
Helping to carry on
When the burden gets too much
Our love sees us through
We make each other happy
Knowing what it truly means
To be in love
Being with you
Has shown me that
And so much more

Bloody Roses

You look cute,
but scream like a beast,
your sweet voice is in mute,
and your smile has deceased.
No longer in love,
afraid to be crushed again,
feelings in the mud,
countdown to ten,
to a nervous breakdown.
cut yourself to reduce pain,
but still feel the depression,
your tears are like rain,
your heart is full of regret.
Can no longer relate,
shattered the world of love that you've created,
only concentrate on hate,
on those who abused you.
A bloody rose looks harmless,
but it's filled with cruelty,
expect the unexpected
from deadly beauty.
