angst, courage, encouraging, love,
I see you filled with emotional pain
You feel like you are alone
So I will hold your hand
It’s okay, you do not need to explain
I will be here through the hurt
Let me absorb your tears
When you are ready tell me how you feel
My promise is to listen
You are safe here with me.

faith, inspirational, love, wisdom,
Everything in my life isn’t perfect
I don’t know the answers half of the time
My hands sometimes shake when folded
To pray, to ask Him, my hope and my guide
I don’t always make my dreams into reality
But I always know that love is my therapy

adventure, hope, life, love, thank you, time, visionary, words,
Between the lines, of fact, and tale,
a persons life, we know not well.
Some insight we have, but not all the truth,
between the lines, read by me, and you.
A release of sort, in our words of rhyme,
our therapy to calm, when we feel like crying.
Days will come, and then they pass,
bringing sunshine, and shadows that last.
Thoughts rekindled from yesterdays mind,
reading the words written from a poet in time.
Miles between, separate our face,
but words of wisdom we daily trace.
Explore the words from everyone here,
although very far, they are always so near.

Therapy rebirth
Sparkle of rain
Seeking possession--a kiss
Sparkling clashes
Confiding through rain
And after the rainbows fade
Retired in your arms
Simple life we shared
I walked with you in the rain
All the blues drifted
Unbecoming rain
Heeded to lover’s advice
Moments of bliss to come
Bitty diamonds
Showered their naked bodies
Cuddled bright beauty
Gentle rain pouring
Never drifted us apart
Be still in the rain

That’s What We Do
In group therapy
We hug each other…
We share personal things
We hug each other…
We confide – open up – open wide
We hug each other…
It seems that when he came to me.
We hugged each other…
He lingered when
We hugged each other…
And it felt so good when
We hugged each other…
He was so warm…his chest so kind…his sweater so clean…
I felt so alive…
When we hugged each other.
I stand
and wait
for the lion
to overtake
me…

Whatever ‘retail therapy’ provides is not worth the soul
Compassion mixed with a dash of guilt thinking of the ‘have not’s
But it is not enough to stop waiting at the door for the UPS drop-offs
Money, greed, power these are the values of today
Torn between love of man or feeding the cliché’
Keep up with the Jones’ bombards the airwaves, everything airbrushed in between
When all looks just so, she’s a size 2, he’s GI Joe, and baby completes the scene

Should research down the mines
To find those love lines
To find the fine molecules in the spine
Of love and its strong signs and wines
And if i had a lab coat and a laboratory
I would smear every love cell in a petri dish elaborately
One by one separating each territory
Of love and rebuild its glory
Just to stimulate immunity against love's morbidity

love, mother, me, love, me, i love you,
A sword of ice stabbed my chest
My nails blackened, my nose bled.
They’re chasing me, wanting to devour my wholeness.
Until a gentle arm pulled me up.
Mama!
Then I felt heaven.
Her face, her eyes, her smile, her breath.
Everything of her is a therapy—
Fragrance of roses, soothing massage, beautiful music.
Mama, let me hug you so tight so that the coldness wouldn’t come back.
Mama, let me kiss you so that heavens would stay.
Mama, hear my wounded heart saying I love you.
Mama, I love you more than very much.

identity,
If I weren't me, who would I be?
would I be imprisoned, chastised, unseasoned?
If I weren't me, how many personalities would tease?
taking me from ease, subjecting me to infamy?
If I weren't me, why on earth would I be you?
would you bring out the best in me?
have me love you for all eternity?
I see you in me
as sure cure for my therapy.

lost love, summer,
The gush and glee
Of summer therapy
Sieged me, in her
Carefree ascension.
That goddess sun
Possessed me, warmed
my wings, healed my soul,
Drained the sadness out of me.
We linked like lovers
In a sacred field of flowers
Until I stumbled, she needs
To be free, she left me…
A few last halcyon days, to know
She loved me in her beautiful way.

heartbroken, sad,
I know you're all by yourself and hurting,
covering a broken heart;
you need a caring hug.
Don't let the sad tears stay shackled inside,
as they release your anguish;
love will once again come.
I know love hurts, you will have happiness,
sun will shine brighter again;
allow God to hold you.

brother, love,
I know you face a darkness, nigh unknown,
But as with all such hardships,
You won't face it alone ...
Before you yawns a crevice, dark and deep,
Still, I am with you, Brother,
To light its somber keep ...
And if you find its fearsome depths too wide,
I'll put you on my shoulders,
And we'll reach the other side.

In the warm balmy afternoon
Just soaking in the summer breeze
Here come my long awaited friends
How discreet time has slipped away
Telling tall tales of years gone by
Reviving names long forgotten
Rekindling places long torn down
While tunes play as from a jukebox
Resuscitating old feelings
Non stop jokes and belly laughter
Could not ask for truer allies
Gosh look, the afternoon’s over
Wonderful getting together
Love you all as my family

I feel as though i have embarked on a new journey in life, happiness is not permanent, a
dead end craft rest deeply inside of me. Failure prospers as though i harvest it with a
vengenance. I am a citizen of pure life, engaging in my own salvation, no longer a
priveleged fool with a slave mentality. I lust for forgiveness therapy, will i ever be able to
right my wrongs, making melody in my heart is a steady process but i hear no joyful
noise. My instruments of love only seem to perform thunderous deceit, suffering is my
foundation, wounded time is on my side.

inspiration, joy, poetry,
Poetry is to me,
Both creation and therapy.
When I write I am immersed
In the realms of rhyme and verse.
Pen and paper I employ
Old fashioned yes, but brings me joy.
I love to quietly sit and think
Then my thoughts, put down in ink.
Some days it flows, some days not
A single line, still I jot.
Of course there is the dreaded 'block'
When creativity seems to stop.
But then inspiration unlocks the door,
Pen in hand, I write once more.
