Unique is the discipline of love
Understanding God's law
Faith holds supreme commander
Sometimes we have to fight
our way through a concrete jungle
stone cold dreams nightmare evaluates
Rocking the cradle unworthy desires
no peace or rest for the wicked deeds
in order to find the answers to hopes prayer
Truth pointing us directions
within our code of moral conduct
which supports us in our voyage
In the walk of life chaos grips hearts consumed with hate
Without faith our souls identity will become dust
Needing hugs from heaven to survive

An iridescent sapphire cuts into the night’s sky clearly
a gift unasked for and predestined appears solidity
love is the luster smelted inside the eastern chambers afar
Hooked upon the waxing moon’s burgeoning smile that shines
mesmerizing silver shadows dance under your bloodstained beams
beckoning freedom in an heavenly escape reflects back unconditionally
A tantalising call nurtured on the precarious wind surrounds the soul
shaded Sacred Heart images dance beckoning inside chorographic unison
never imagined acceptance of grace awaits in your tender loving embrace

Son of God
Lord
You are:
Oracle of peace
wise counselor
source within the living waters
That breathes life
into insightful predictions
of our future holdings
Son of Mary
With grace and mercy
one regal descendent of David
A sacrificial birth born
under the shadow of the cross
the Son of the most high
An eternal ruling Monarch
whose loving touch precludes no man
behold our King has come
Immortal spirit of divinity’s
Fulfilling the prophesies
divinely anointing our Prince of Peace
Truth held under Christian virtues
through the portal our great Father
forever speaks within, Amen

appreciation, beauty, morning,
Nature beckons me with its charm ~
trees waving in the wind
wish me good morning from their farm;
birds chirrup, their music plays on,
young ones squeak in response,
I love hearing these sounds at dawn;
honeybees, butterflies float by,
busy waking flowers,
I watch them with a content sigh,
buds open up their little heads,
sun rays smile at dewdrops,
charming me as morn's splendour spreads.

Shrouds cast purposed a dire malaise,
inscribed plaudits hallow tombstones,
absorbing bores coped brimmed blase,
a raised veil, e'er wet-eyes stream blued,
stays balanced, shifted acquiesce,
resume pace, neglectful of mood,
umbrae molds clear, a mien shone glit,
poised calm prosed a pious meek speech,
laid wreaths, last steps rounds a life flit.

moon, romance, sun,
When he comes home smiling, moon blooms,
With stars, her darling kids,
Yet when he far does roam, she glooms.
She furls her wings and burns her ends;
Without his love, she shrinks;
She bends, and bends; her gloom extends.
Wearing sadly a thick black shawl,
Abandoning her choir,
She bemoans, and him she does call.
On hearing her plea, home he comes,
Brighter moon does bloom, and
Merrily with him, songs she hums.

death,
There is no poetry in death,
only turned page and closed cover,
all of mans words end with last breath.
Remembered moments, all deeds done,
faces in youth and laughter spent,
only prose now in setting sun.
Final rest in return to earth,
console, uphold in reverence,
Holy needs fulfilled wait rebirth.
Spirit lifted in deaths embrace,
live on kind soul in hearts love bound,
stone marker, in poetic grace.

the universe too sings with delight
joy replete
no doing to be done
dance of love and light in renewal

for you from the pen of this amateur.
Limerick and footle to make you smile,
kimo, etheree, nonet for their form.
Sonnets and couplets give us love stories,
quatrains and tercets to keep our hearts warm.
So many ways to say that I Love You,
or you can kiss my rear you dumb buffoon.
Starlight from Heaven can never compare,
to the light from your eyes, you stupid goon.
See you don’t have to have a diploma,
or be experts in writing poetry.
Just put your thoughts down onto some paper,
then you too can be a poet like me.
