baby, joy,
The wait has been too long but now it’s time
To hold with love what she yearned for
No words for joy but grateful tears.
The radiant face aglow with sparkling tears
Cradling her child for the first time
She knows it’s been worth waiting for.
The fruit of mutual love she’s thankful for
She feels its breath and sheds warm tears
A lasting bond will grow in time.
A precious gift is born; it’s time for tears.

Circle of trust wealth held in its reign
is the moon shining with you
as it silver sparkles tonight inside thoughts
I will blow a kiss golden melting
over oceans wide washed into her pearly white beam
in the hope it kisses the dream
In the morning with golden sun rays
a shining treasure forever glistens
each one warmed by your beauty
Dewdrops are the stars clustered
weeping silver precious dawning daylight
the sunbeams forever smiling on you

In sweet tenderness sweeping inside echoes moans turn tides
the sun warmly whispers joy your a pleasant delight
touching softly amber with your finger rays runs deep
Wind caressing the brow speaks within gentle love chains pearl drops fall
looking into distant clouds heart murmurs beat faster skipping
silver to white puffy grey smoking sighs surrender sweetly
Magic smiling gently in the blue Heaven's a golden signal beams
larks singing merrily an enchanting tune holds captivating the air
in a circle of light honey, it's softly held on the warm glow upon your face

Strolling softly, in September rains,
beneath a bright, plaid umbrella.
A tender couple strolled in joyous love,
he indeed, her dear, sensuous ‘fella.
Listen now, to the tender raindrops,
singing such sweet notes, a cappella!

daughter,
If in love to wife desire’s rife,
And to son there seems ambition,
To daughters, tranquil run waters.
If she may outgrow father’s lap,
She always stays within heart’s map,
Distance may grow, gulf there’s, nor gap.
A daughter is like a rainbow,
A lifelong source that gets to grow,
A spectrum’s widest range to draw.
Warmer is she than warmest wools,
Let she be ward of what so schools,
More precious she’s than priceless jewels.
And angel sent down from heaven,
Lost I’d long years back such a one,
To gain, thank heavens, once again.

beauty,
Back when we would walk in the spring-green wood
Holding hands, hearts joined only as lovers can
Thoughts circle round those days in the deep wildwood
Now aged, bent way past young adulthood
Young love comes in glimpses in this lifespan
Longing for Jesus' relief of my orphanhood

Colors now shimmer in golden, backlit mist
where blue hydrangeas and red roses coexist
Purples and oranges adore a fresh morning.
Flighty trouble has, at last, gone away, riled
Since the mellow hour, my sunshine smiled
The green and pink birds are finally soaring!
Naturally, nature must love beauty so much
To shower flowers with silver, gold and such
Does pearly dew, gladden all of nature, too?

kneeling before you love drowning gasps
breathless true everlasting star lighting dream
Humbling to these eyes one shrine
speaks gasping in a thousand tongues
within deep inner beauty magic shines
Adoring warm feelings forever sing
touching sweetly emotions enchanting bells midnight rings
kissing walls softly inside always fluttering wings
Between those jewels beams
I spy the deepest secret loving
a diamond treasure soul brightly gleams

love, romanceme,
If I call you 'my dear',
do I presume too soon
that you are mine?
If to me you draw near
and you cause me to swoon...
Breakfast at nine?
If it seems very clear
we are meant to be one,
all should be fine?
If there's reason to fear
it will not be much fun,
should we decline?
If it's just for the sheer
joy, pure - surpassed by none,
our love will shine.

You take my breath completely away
You mean the world to me, my love and
Only I have to gaze softly into your eyes
I rememb'r all the smiles upon your face
And when I'm sad I replay them in my mind
My heart savorin' every time I can't replace
Sometimes it seems I'm living just a dream
From which I don't want ever to wake up from
And when you're far 'way I just want to scream
'Cause life without you can never be the same
Love runs wild thru my veins like a roarin' fire
And my skin burns recurring just your name.

farewell, loneliness, lost love,
I roam the alley of bruised dreams
The hanging lamps fade, so unkind--
My soul trapped as night blasphemes
Of farewell’s plight nailing this mind.
He’s gone far off to taint our love---
In anguish, I search heaven's dove;
Yet blackbirds howl from skies above.

lost love,
I made a vow on a day divine
To hold your hands in mine
May it be rain or shine.
In the years that followed the day
Our hands never went astray
Rather, your hand in mine led the way.
In every sky of grey and blue
I kept my word to you
Together, we witnessed the dawn anew.
In times of departed sand
I am holding your resting hand
While I sit in a headstone land.

Speech escapes my lips, His love set me free!
This broken one in Mercy was made whole,
All the anger, pain, and fear left my soul.
My prodigal heart He filled with His peace
The hollow, nourished, and was made complete.
This life with all its joys and tears.... now His.

appreciation, recovery from,
Not in the grandeur of regrets
Is satisfaction felt
In sinking heat of wet sunsets
Drunk on the penitent's dry wine
Spirits of Van Gogh left
In blues, anonymously signed
Frigid water was mine to row
Unseen at the flood's end
A black hole bringing a rainbow
Devoid of friend or tribe or peer
I found, in you, my home
And faith in love that outlasts fear
As isolation's bitter darks
Melted to your warm kiss
Hope opened like wings of monarchs
The heart that lives in you can see
Past these wounded walls to
Love the flawed soul that lives in me.

She courts each page
With poetic sensuality
I intently await
Each seductive phrase
As her words saunter in front of me
Only a heart
This large
Could be as vulnerable as she
Is she a goddess?
A work in progress
As her heart bursts open in her poetry
Make love to me
She says repeatedly
Make love on this page with me
We'll whisper words
Intimately only heard
We are on the same page, collapsing ecstasy

Living everyday is already a miracle

I choose to think good things
I love life in season.

Forget those who are necessary
I avoid vex people and less tempered.
