Find Me Then

Find me then, when gilded ruby sky
Adorns mauve twilight on canvas pink
Pleasing ardor of magenta dreams
Tinting smiles in brushstrokes tangerine;
Find me then, when ocean's blue bosom
Scintillates waves' vermilion passions
As sun's orange glow folds in embrace
Caressing kiss of love --find me then.

Purple Cemetery

I write so many poems that you don’t see
They end up in purple poem cemetery
Mangled in the **** of my maroon mind
Tangerine tangles of wasted time

Violet vines of not good enough
Tall teal trees of unreturned love
Winged words white like albino leaves
Falling to their death from teal tree

Falling for you’re deaf to my poet tree
Bass treble cleft left in green cerebral dream
Unsung songs unmade love
Sing a longs gone wrong
Made in maroon lust

But somehow I manage to hold on to it
Maybe it will be reborn as a chocolate kiss
of rainbow reflection of historical views
Of future endeavors red spice unused.

Yellow Heart

This morning I wrote a poem
about a yellow heart
pining for red fusion,
in a desperate attempt
to shake the fruit
that never

falls

And tonight I am alone
without tangerine lips
or the temptation of apple,
carefully watching familiar verses
unravel themselves
and fanatically dance around
like a final punctuation mark
or an overused cliche,
while my hands whittle metaphors
into a quick-witted instrument
sharp enough to scrape
the smeared imagery
off the sidewalk of poem,

Still I am not sorry
the fruit has not

fallen
to kiss my weary head,
it takes an overly cautious yellow
to see the perfect shade of red

Sweet Citrus

I kissed July's hot tangerine lips
swam in cool aquamarine eyes
basked in blond and honey rays
dreamed in mango pomegranate sunsets
of lime hillsides and marmalade roses
Years of sweet citrus passed in golden hours

One day I woke
to find translucent eyes
in burnt sienna
as trees wept leaves
in burgundy and olive
Soon the eyes
were frozen in powder
Ashen shadows blew
across barren groves
of spindled spruce
and howled
with December's lonely moon
But from my fire lit window
I hold fast to memories
of daffodils and oranges
mingled with the burn
of lemon tears

Meet Me There

Meet me there~ when halo of the eventide
Scripts clandestine hints of twilight dreams
Invoking passions pink of romantic musings
Upon horizon’s smile glistening lapis lazuli
Where you are lost gazing sunset tangerine
As the sun folds in blue sea~ meet me there

Blood Moon

Raven orchids drape the night,
fraying in the high petals
of swooning fronds.
I sit beneath a daffodil porch light,
a blood moon blushing tangerine
in a field of white alyssum
as I smell the nascent lilt
of a voodoo rose.
The giggling breeze
that flirted with my lashes
suddenly becomes a gust,
stinging my eyes.
Voodoo thorns rip my shirt
in a netherworld of absent flesh
as silhouettes of unbridled marigolds
woo their willing beds.
In my daffodil haze
I lift black narcissus
in an absent glass
to toast forbidden love,
the feral moon and I
beneath the breathless echo
of wild star light.

Wild Roses On The Hill

An escapade sweet as a marshmallow day
when tangerine dreams fed our evergreen stream.
Our magnet attraction neath radiant ray
did butter the air where the breezes did teem
in whirlwind through roses anointing the brae.
Their scent, my surrender, romantic the scheme,
exotic the fever and dance with a flame.
Ah, rapture of capture! The wooer’s end game.

Colors

What if there were purples, and blues, and greens?

What if your daughter loved a pink, though she a tangerine?

What colors are more capable of awe and inspiration?

What greatness does life hold without exaggeration?

What courage can be shown without mixing up some colors?

What knowledge can we bestow without first understanding others?

Stargazer Lily

I close my eyes and see shades of tangerine with splashes of pink- sweetly serene. Stargazer lilies bring ease; sense them in the breeze in mid-June- starlit… with the moon. That Summer was mild when the lilies grew so wild! At her grave I leave one Stargazer... so that in heaven my love will amaze her. Breathe - 1

Breathe grace against A tangerine moon who lights The depths of the heart Breathe passion across A scarlet rose who grows Through rain and jewels of dew Breathe faith along A sapphire sky who vibrates With nightfall’s sweet silence Breathe laughter into A lemonade hue of summer who Smiles with overwhelming joy Breathe light around A lavender glow of kindness Giving tender gifts of guidance Breathe promises over A silvery whisper of prayer Sharing blessings from the soul Breathe love through A burgundy sigh of compassion Delivering hope that is everlasting

Under My Puerto Rican Sun

Slice that ripe green Avocado
Love it with my rice and beans
Oh it looks so ripe and yellow
Slice it like a tangerine

Let's make love under La Palma
Lay out our blanket on the clean
Luquillo sand - allow the Puerto Rican
Sun to bath us with its warm Latino hands

Soothe our bodies, comfort our Souls
Heat our blood as we become one under
La Palma and Puerto Rican Sun

Parallel Love

From afar I watch the sun
That's setting in your eyes..
Shades of green melt into tangerine..
But I'm just a different hue
From violet to pink and blue
We may never be intertwined..
For we are parallel dimensions
Of the mind
But if I may say
The vibrance in your eyes
Is beautifully enchanting..

Optimistic Orange

Orange is the chakra color
that governs our sexuality,
our creativity, and passion.
This chakra, the sacral area
beneath the naval, sparks our
drive to love and reproduce.
It calls upon artists to paint,
poets to create inspiring poetry,
composers, melodious music.
Orange rules hues of firelight in
the glorious sunrise and sunsets.
Tangerine skies lend tranquility
with beauty each dawn and dusk.
Carnelian, orange jade, and agate
gemstones increase and aid self-
esteem, confidence, and balance.
Orange, a color of joy and harmony.
So wrap yourself in orange glory!

And She Came Into My Life

Like the hidden pearl or like the fervor of a lamp
In the dark night like the stars appeared
And she came into my life …..

Like the fresh breeze from ocean
Or like the fragrance from the flower
And she came into my life…..

Wearing the wings of angels or
Like vastness of sleepy blue sky
And she came into my life….

Like gushing water from mountains or
Like a rainbow in making from the waterfall
And she came into my life…..

Never thought about her in my dreams nor
Drew any picture in imagination
And she came into my life…..

With the chattering of birds
My heart opened its doors
Like the tangerine morning
She came into my life…..

Darling girl, you are so tempting,
In your low cut, sapphire gown.
Ruby lips make my own pucker.
Stopped by your mothers ashy frown.

Your violet eyes, fringed by jet lashes,
Pause to gaze at me and linger.
I almost voice my hunger
To place gold upon your finger.

I envy tangerine you're tasting,
As juice dribbles on your pearls.
My heart dances a fandango
As in vested chest it whirls.

Braving the wrath of your stern mother,
Regal in her olive dress,
My love is stronger than my fear, Dear,
I'm praying that our love she'll bless.

Beach Life

I sat on the wall and just. Watched
My mind and eyes danced to the fore
Shore
Waves of seas and souls who pranced
Jubilant
Was my expression

As impressionistic imprints imbedded in
Mind and sand and sea
Buckets of love and sand ebbed and flowed

Feathers flew, fled, fought for disregarded chips
And lay also
Lay as unwanted knickers on the tangerine sand

It was a knickerbocker glorious day
Of ice-cream cones and cream clad skin
Of towels, flip-flops
Bunny hops
Sandy hands and castles
Surrounded by murky, frothy, salted streams

For once the sky held little
Importance as
I was far to distracted by

Life

Twinkle Toes

What I wish was all she dreams
Your beauty's
Sweet milky cream...
In this the taste
Her beautiful lips; nectars
Wet aneath tangerine bliss
Flavours swirling and oh so pink
Softened silk..
Breast betwixt their warmth her cry
Pleasure; Your tender sighs
All I wish be all your dreams; She...
As your love and love, her cherry screams.

Tangerine

I want to peg you away
and stablish you on my lips
until the break of day
I'll slowly take a sip

I want to peel you
as you reminisce in your care
I'll hold you
and tear away your fear

My fat juicy and clean
loving you is easy
your taste so serein
so refreshing, so squeezy

I want to strip away your bark
hold you close to my heart
light away your dark
and moment by moment take you apart

Kaleidoscopic Collab With Jo

Kaleidoscopic Collab With Jo

Enjoying the kaleidoscopic view,
As the sky changes to a brilliant hue,
Songbirds fly across the clouds to their home,
As the azure becomes a salmon dome,

Tangerine sun recedes slow from the scene,
Entering demurely is the night queen,
What a sight to behold is this sunset!
Nothing's more kaleidoscopic as yet!

When lightning struck, I began to quiver,
Sparks run through a spiritual river,
Nature’s le coup de foudre beam reveals,
A blissful night light, self-love that which heals,

Moonshine spits pink energy bolts captured,
Life’s predicted divinity raptured,
The source, a grand illusion within us?
Optical tilt, gigajoule luminous!

Rainbow Witch

The pointed hat she wears sublime
with dust from Neptune's moon;
though magic flowing from my love
will fade and perish soon.
She twirls her glowing cape -
its light is from the stars,
the heat of Venus fire
and glittered sands of Mars.
The colours fluctuate
in shades of blinding light,
and flash from black to white,
then aquamarine -
crimson -
chartreuse -
coral -
lavender -
lemon -
lilac -
saffron -
tangerine -
watermelon...

And as her soul departs this night,
her colours fill the heavens bright.

In the jingle of your bracelet,
In the kohl that lined your emerald eyes,
In the vermillion of your lips,
I see my love soothing.

In the changing cerulean of the sky,
In the delicate ensemble of the words,
In the early morning drizzle,
I see your acceptance of my love.

In the bistre of the night sky,
In amber sunsets,
In the shadows of dusk,
I see our love blossom.

In the tangerine mornings,
In the Aureolin of water hanging on your hair,
In the fuchsia blush that rises on your cheeks,
I see our love shining.

In the soft silver moonlight
In the paper boat merrily drifting
In the ivory temperature
I see the world envying.

Tangerine Time Rewind

Rewind tender time, lost love on my mind,
Reverie - honeyed heart now bittersweet.
Tears etch love story’s want to be re-lined,
Melancholy's grayish-blues stain heartbeat.

My folly foolish forced your love away,
Soul music's woe pulses rued ruby room,
Flame and sorrow dance red-yellow ballet,
Kiss, blown-wistful to find you o'er the moon.

Echos; your voice sweet plucks hapless heartstrings,
Memories mourned vibrates vain violin.
Déjà vu moments’ medley’s bliss; wasp stings,
Penance.., tangerine time rewind again...
