Spiritual Birth

grace will find you when thoughts fade away crushed with unbearable grief "losing your mind" suffering during a dark night of the soul the ego crumbles; revealing the light your soul consciousness "finding yourself" directly experiencing the divine sense of oneness where everything is connected at a deeper level there is but one consciousness appearing as many "awakened" breathless views are available with inner focus crossing a chasm with one final leap of faith you become blissful; radiating like the sun "experiencing enlightenment" revived with a new perspective humans are never perfect but our pure being is "love"

Life Is For the Living

Today another angel got her wings
Promoted for a job well done on earth
Rejoice! In heaven, all the angels sing
His grace has filled her with angelic mirth

Though quickly earth reclaims the pyre's ash
How swift the ceaseless seasons of the sun
Grief fades and loneliness becomes the lash
A harsh reminder of that special one

But in our times of sad and dark despair
Our angel fans the dying flame of love
No longer suffering, her joy she shares
Reminding us she's waiting up above

This life is for the living, not the dead
Our day will come, when no more tears are shed

The Darkest Hour

The darkest hour comes with pain that's insane,
Excruciating, unrelenting pain.
The sobbing and gasping are so abrupt.
The heart is broken; the body gives up.

The darkest hour tries to take full control,
Searching through the suffering for the soul.
Disillusioning evil tells a lie.
“Death will set you free, so let yourself die.”

Numbness begins to smother the feeling.
The chaos of your mind sends you reeling.
In time you know there must be a reason
To continue at least for a season.

Looking deep within, you search for the light,
A seed of love to help you through the night.

The Topic of Cancer

God, so cruel a plague upon me,
dreams crushed, forsaken,
even as I hopefully step
where the sun leaves me to smile
for those brief but celebrated
        moments.

Through tear blurred windows
dear hearts that suffer more than I
can despise their suffering -
much more than my own sad fate.
I'm called brave but it is they
who smile through pain,
struggle for the right words.

They need not speak.
How lucky I have been
no matter my end
to have known such love.

A Teardrop Falls

A teardrop falls deeply—slicing and aching
hurt twisting knots around the deepest fingers
love you from my heart warmest emotions so
in each kiss of your beauty I feel all of you
worth the suffering and pain that happens
gaining rewards in the end—undiminished love
happiness such a precious gift for us forever
the teardrop falls now freely in your honor
it spills warmly and gently in your name love
as grace is my honor to bear this noble sacrifice
with joy and I find you now my sweetest sunshine
with happiness being my one-way ticket to paradise

A Wind That Blows Loneliness

The wind blows softly over the lonely,
The suffering think of themselves only.
A world of chaos, racism, and turmoil,
Utmost egomanias spoil our toil.

An old man groans, no decent place to live,
Are there relatives? No comfort to give?
Blow softly oh lonely wind, they care not,
They are comfortable, and all forgot.

Somewhere a child is crying his heart out,
Can anyone guess what it's all about?
Is the child hungry, lost, or cast aside?
Much abused, ill-treated, or love denied?

There are millions of cries heard on the wind,
Alas no one bothers: is man unkind?

Remains

Revenge sweet turning with hate
a brother rises striking blows
landing hits brother in wicked deeds
evilness within mans own soul

Cruelty crawling inside desires
suffering greed of nations they plea
Rise up against nations man at war
tearing asunder God's creation
People slowly murdering loveless

Pride a sinful act of violence
laced with pain destroying pure love
everything that once stood out housed peace
so fine cut beautiful, good sharing
caring free, in this one, big show rolls

Keeps turning, the wheel of hope
whom will speak, as we all become part
of his heavenly dust in the end
or burning remains of hell's fire

Love Is the Force

Tender touch gently soothes an ailing soul
Wordless discourse greets eyes of love
A mother's hug comforts her child's ego
Love is the force that makes the world go

Kinder hearts ache sensing others' pain
A prayer mightily calls for suffering to end
Flowers of goodwill shed feelings of woe
Love is the force that makes the world go

Words of care resonate in any language
Noble deeds of strangers justly amaze
A message of peace triumphantly echos
Love is the force that makes the world go

Love received, gives, and regenerates
It multiplies, compounds, and propagates
Love is the force that elevates the world

Confined Wings

In a carnal...cage of ribs,
A suffering heart laments.
In the abode of the soul...
...faint echoes of muted pain..
...grace the dark cavity of flesh.

Whispers of failures resonate..
The soul...a pure white dove of dreams.
Captive of freedom...imprisoned from love.
Shackled to an interior dungeon of depression.

Red rivers stream...through the body’s conduits,
Poetic lullaby’s gush...soothing the dove to slumber.
Dreams of love...nestled deep..
...aspire the joy that once was.

Bilocation

I am in my body
While floating above
A vessel for hate
Who chooses to love

A traveler of sorts
Roaming the earth
A pilgrim from the stars
who came here by birth

Suffering is temporary
A lesson to learn
It’s for God’s Kingdom
I solemnly yearn

I am not merely
Just what you see
Not trapped in this body
I know my destiny

Look in my eyes
Travel with me there
To a city of angels
Devoid of despair.

Whispers

Shhhh...
There's a whisper
spoken in the breeze
awakening those who listen,
begging you please...
Can you hear it?

Love is the holy place
the potion to your woes,
the magic in the healing ,
where sanctity glows.
Can you feel it?

Hope is the lotus
emerging from the mud,
there's beauty in the suffering
and alchemy in the blood.
Can you see it?

Faith is the invisible force
powerful and uplifting.
Fireflies in daylight
above the creek are drifting.
Can you believe it?

Shhhh...
there's a whisper.

A Powerful Force

Faith is a powerful force requiring absolute trust. It allows one to believe they are loved and not alone. Suffering persecution, some have little more than faith. And yet, it's unshakable in times of adversity. Praying perpetuates hope, opening one's heart to God. And when one first feels His love, everything quickly changes. One's beliefs can imbue life with a strong sense of purpose. Existence should never feel empty or unfulfilling. The love that one has for God is oft rooted in blind faith. And yet, that faith sustains one, nourishing both heart and soul.

Before the Fire

I remember when our love was simple
a preamble to the heart tremble and the gods' gamble
when we didn't owe each other anything and our artistry meant everything,
we were free of hope and suffering, living on the feeling of belonging to love rising,

We made a lexicon of lightening and splendor of thunder
rendezvoued in the sharp rain of rage and grew gold roses in rebel's plunder,
taught truth not to bet on beauty but to bite into the meat of rugged reality, to taste our mettle,
you became the priestess of my noetic eyes, and I, the priest of your poetic pain, we were miracle -

Mother Earth's Plea

Mother Earth's Plea

Once upon a time I was so beautiful

Now my body is cluttered with pestilence,
I’m slowly dying inside.
Hear my suffering,
feel my rain of tears,
my seasons of grief and anguish

Please restore my magical beauty and charm,
the rhythm of harmony and balance
so I can survive

If you love me, keep me clean and recycle.
Everyone needs to pitch in!

Shepherd of Souls

Divine Master most precious crowned golden Spirit
You who sits in Heaven regal most gracious hear our prayers

Lord and Holy Master angels sing in choir rejoicing
in Your love we break and share bread with wine

Body and blood in Your suffering for our sins
Died on the cross at Calvary forgive me my King

I am weak in the eyes of the world guide me
always and forever in Your light colours freedom Amen.

Dying Heart

Stabbed in the heart, I’m starting to bleed
I’m becoming cold as the touch of death
Yet I don’t want to say goodbye

Painful word, insane cry, sweet goodbye
Pain pounds on me as I bleed
Thumping me until I reach death

Life is being drained by the angel of death
Forcing me to say goodbye
Suffering the more I bleed

Yet even as I bleed to death I refuse to tell you goodbye

Back To Origin

People are commonly different
Symbol of diversity piece
Pure race doesn’t exists

Color and creed are just an identity
Believe only in human history
God sculptured them from clay

People are equally created
Having many opposites
But respecting others taste

When everyone is treated equal
Nothing appears but peace in hand
Discrimination, disunity and, suffering won’t be born anymore

Her Indifference

Certain it is,
That her rejection, untold suffering upon
Him, would bring

But

Her indifference,
Would be the one, his condemnation to
Unhappiness to sign!

The Touch

Who knows how long the leper lived,
Since last he felt a touch?
Who knows the depth of suffering
And solitude of such?

The torment of his body
And the exile of his soul!
To be cast out and ostracized,
Despised with none to hold.

While none would dare be near him,
One knew how he yearned.
While others ran for cover,
This One stopped and turned.

No one could attend him.
This man was all alone.
Until the hand of Jesus
Was willing to atone.

Heaven sent, compassion bound
The Shepherd found this sheep
Distorted, wounded kneeling down,
He raised him to his feet.

He closed the open wounds
And straightened limbs once curled.
Jesus touched the leper with,
The touch felt ‘round the world.

Pit of Despair

Sometimes, life can seem unfair, as your heart loses all hope. And from a pit of despair, you struggle merely to cope. Love is an elusive dream, interlaced with nightmare thoughts. And anxiety's extreme, tying your stomach in knots. You try to rewind life's tape, and yet, it is stuck on pause. And there's no way to escape the suffering; or its cause. Abuse morphs into self-hate, guiding the knife on its path. And admonishing your fate, you let its blade purge your wrath. Every cut exacts a toll, unleashing a scarlet flood. And yet, the pain in your soul is numbed; by the flow of blood.

A Crippling Feeling

I feel empathy for people that cry and try to bring their suffering to light. I can feel the joy within their world die, and I know in my heart that it isn't right. Loneliness can be a crippling feeling that's more devastating than people know. And that kind of hurting requires healing, or it'll fester and soon begin to show. Depression’s veil shadows a sad soul as it sinks amongst the tears where dreams drown. And hope oft levies a terrible toll when there's no way up, and you feel held down. Life has no purpose if it's lived alone, without love, one may as well be a clone. (Sonnet) 2/7/2018

Fires of Life

Figuratively there is good and there is bad
Intuitively we know there are high paths and low
Rewarding goodness; not hatefulness when so sad
Eliminating love, the thief comes to take what you know

And there are consequences for each choice made
Children who wander lives without a mother nor dad
Destitute families who’s last night never laid
Unless a miracle occurs their lives will be bad

So, in the course of suffering and destitution
Come magnificent family courage and strength
And some how a divine illumination
Causes a peaceful and caring restitution

And the answers come often at the end of time
But, looking back, They’re no more blind

They Have Woven a Net Around Us

A feeling of nearness to suffering
In our hearts
While we reduce the dimensions
Of the essence of light
With our eyes
In a local scuffle
Them
They have woven a net around us.
Bearing the pains of life
While watching the people with sullen faces
And tired thoughts
All along the years
We have heard the whistle of whips...
With well-concealed thoughts
Those
Never thought of us
And... without any mercy
Have woven a net around us.

Cruelty In Love

Why do you enjoy my suffering?
Does my torment really please you?
Disrespect me as often as you like.
Ignore my existence the way you do.

Why do you enjoy my suffering?
You claim to love with all your heart.
Selfish, cruelty must be an art form.
You excel in hatred, tearing me apart.

Why do you enjoy my suffering?
Your cold smile could conjure the dead.
Your evil stare torments my dreams.
I wish I could get you out of my head.
