Poetry Is

Poetry is white lights falling upon rainbows and snow
Casual exchanges blinked upon a shared pillow
Lip prints etched inside an antiquated photograph
The obligatory holding of hands as a lost-craft

Poetry is the scent of morning kisses
Words that blossom, an arrow that misses
Umbrellas unopened on a drizzling day
A trail of lovers unable to find their way

Poetry is an evening sparrow chasing the moon
Two silhouettes cascading into a spoon
Roses blown from a closed casket
The loneliness of waiting for her to ask-it

Poetry is the answer to what if and why
Tissues capturing the tears but not the cry
Rubies polishing a heart to an imperfect shine
The undefined likeness of I, Me and Mine

' When you are not fed love on a silver spoon, you learn to lick it off knives'- Lauren Eden

the hopeless frenzy of this wicked hour stares
from broken mirrors
this fractured visage shaken
this worn love, a hardened scab
tempting to be plucked
and promising not to bleed
this time
love is such an impatient
healer

How the Moon Does It

The moon spoons pieces of jeweled firmament from the universe's dark heart into her golden bowl, mixes incandescent milk with a cool touch, then pours it all out on us in tender love, hoping we are ready for such a gift. ----------------- December 19, 2016 For Kai Michael Neumann's contest - 'Moon Spoon'

Silently She Weeps

Every day she comes to visit her,
lifts the spoon to her thin lips.
Quietly she sleeps, silently she weeps.
Life arrested in its waning grip.

Every day she comes with hope
that something in her changes.
Silently she weeps, quietly she sleeps
The memories time rearranges.

Every day she comes and wonders,
will she wake today and speak?
Quietly she sleeps, silently she weeps
An imprisoned mind in body weak.

Every day she comes and touches
the woman like no other.
Silently she weeps, quietly she sleeps.
Maternal daughter, loving mother.

-spoon-Feed Them-

What is spoon-feed?
Feeding our thoughts
Sincerity, Honesty and Truth
Called Constructive Criticism

Striving to be at our best
Helping because of love
Care
Understanding

Motivated to Construct
Mistakes, Errors, Faults
It is okay
We are not perfect

Why use hell
Instead of Condemned?
Hell is Bulls Eye
Exact place when condemned

A Haunting Love

It’s surrealistic in what I see
In the most unlikely places, in fact.
Especially when unexpectedly
They appear before wearily eyes, abstract.
Was eating my usual cereal:
Shredded wheat with sliced ripen banana.
Staring back from my empty spoon revealed
A face, the ghost of my Marianna.
Startled, yet saddened, my head turned around
Expecting to see my wife’s lovely face.
Instead I had found a man with a frown
Mirroring back from a glass-door bookcase.
Her haunting visits, this angel of death
Will continue I guess till my last breath.

A Letter To My Day

Oh, morning I greet you! hey
Hello… and how do you do?
The sky is so bright and blue
I have to go…there is so much to do today

Good day… oh afternoon! wow!
The sun is shining so soon
The sparrows have cause to croon
It’s lunchtime, i need my sauce and spoon now

It’s nice you’re here oh night! so cool
Why do you always save the sunlight?
I love to listen to tales by moonlight
Oh, it’s bedtime so, light out... some seldom fool

Birdshot Ink

traced the silver wing
the pointed beak

          eyes that dot the skies

gold star,

    flowers with beating petals

a forest feather gumption

              between a parrot’s toes

gripping tight

      the marriage knot

his love sought blueberries
a fight of

     juicy treats, and carrots

the orange consumption of gasoline

under the bower, a fleet of butterflies

they clench beholden teeth

they break mid air and spoon goodbye

what do they seek but the succulence of heaven

in haste, a quill dipped in birdshot ink

We are spoon-fed

We are spoon-fed by touch divine, transmuting body-mind, orchestrated by God’s design, for those with love aligned. As such, without excuse, it’s up to us to choose, the flavour of our muse. By bliss beats led ~ We are spoon-fed

an unheard melody

the orphaned child gazed at the moon
consoled not by love from afar
he sat alone, holding a spoon
stark solitude was his soul’s scar

the lamp in the sky has its moods
the orphaned child gazed the moon
when it is pitch dark, his heart broods
callous too seems, the sun at noon

“if God’s real, grant me love’s boon
that tender touch of mother’s kiss”
the orphaned child gazed the moon
“get me out of this dark abyss”

choosing to take all life along
with God he began to commune
his spirit then sang a love song
the orphaned child gazed at the moon

I Found No Joy - She's a Ladyboy

In Asia I met a cute gal named Mai Tai She sure stole the heart of this old guy On the soft sand we kissed and caressed Mai’s absolutely stunning, I feel so blessed I sense there’ll be fireworks under the moon Our passion is rising when we start to spoon Her perfect pert body I begin to kiss and caress One thing leads to another, we start to undress Alas, when Mai Tai removes her lacy thong I’m stunned when she reveals a pink dong I back away disgust, for ‘she’s’ a ladyboy With this he/she I sure won’t find any joy! So when looking for love, I’d advise you all to beware The truth of one's gender’s hidden in their underwear! 6/24/18

Wedding Proposal of a Spoon

The knives and plate were always between us
With your sister, you were hanging out
With those two handsome knives
At all breakfast, lunch and dinner times
But when you were in the dishwasher
The playboy knife cheated on you
On the dessert plates
Tons of times
Please don’t let him to deceive you
I am the one who will always love you

Love Inside a Rainbow

"Love Inside a Rainbow" weave a mysterious magic spell beneath golden glimmer of yellow Moon cast a dream coin into a wishing well as a love potion feeding from silvery spoon. entwine soft fragile fibers flame beyond dark drape of midnight hour as the whispering wind haunting a name as beautiful as love's fragrant flower. thread silk strings of broken hearts to heal hurt and pain with twilight's hue seal with a kiss as fear departs to carve initials inside a rainbow view. sweet love radiates as passions dew as vibrant as a rainbow's view.

Misty Blue

Misty Blue
  where are you?
I am so blue
  I long for you.

Wicked dreams
  drive me crazy
Open streams
  dry so quickly.

Tides rise
  winds demise
Arks capsize
  mounds arise.

Once in a blue moon
  mystical you disappear
Twice in a spoon
  drops of you appear.

Your spirit
  I love, calling your name
My spirit
  your love, a burning flame.

What more can I tell?
  hitting me so deep
Walking through the steep
  under your spell.

Fire In the Sky

Darkness carves night from day's glare with a half moon
smile under star-studded eyes. Faces glow as silver spoon
ladles the rapture of Venus. Fly Golden flames! Shower
the horizon before stars fall, languishing too soon.

Behold, the glory! Applaud the gallant trail of pewter
in wide-eyed dreams. Dancing in shadows, the suitor
from silver screen projects shooting stars. Piercing
hearts of lovers, metal shines, a welcomed intruder.

Brand each beating heart with the reigning night! Fuse
with the goddess of love before stars fade from sight. Cruise
on blazing chariot through evanescence of passion's mist,
and memories of spirit sky shall set fire to our muse.

Bride To Be

Oh sweet bride to be
as the flowers bloom
you snuck to my room
in hopes of a lustful spoon
Groom anxiously awaits
as your father opens the front gates
No one will comprehend our fate
Face to face we engage
Stockings, undergarments and satin lace
on the floor they lay
We embrace and grind away

Batter On the Spatula

Let me lick the spoon
After you scrape the mixture
Into the cake pans.

Let me have the bowl
So I can lick the sweet streaks.
I will wash the dishes!

A Soup To Warm Your Soul

A soup so delightful
Yet to such a waste
All that cooking
Standing by the stove
Making sure the temperature was just right
Adding all the right spices
- A little salt and pepper, some lemon squeeze, just a hint of chili and a spoon full of love
Stirring carefully, making sure it didn't boil over
Humming your favorite tune while preparing
Personalized with all the ingredients you prefer

Poured it into you favorite bowl, the yellow one (your favorite color)
Served it to you with fresh basil and a kiss on your cheek

You smile and say:

"Thanx, but I'm not very hungry right now"

I'Ve Fallen In Love

Mix the packet contents with fresh cream and milk
Boil and stir the mixture until it’s a smooth as silk
Pour into ramekin dishes and leave it to set
Don’t reach for the spoon – it’s not quite ready yet

Sprinkle on sugar and put under the grill
When the topping is bubbling just leave it to chill
Reach for the spoon and break through the crispy topping
Crème Brulee I love you – my spoon wont be stopping

9th April 2014

Written after I made a packet mix crème brulee dessert on Saturday.
I need to get my sister to buy me supplies as I purchased it in the UK.
We don’t have this particular shop on the Island - I should really have a go making it from scratch

Imagine we could fall in love
Then love and die
To live in love
Lost and broken
Done and gone

Imagine we were not but one
A feather breeze
Eternal passion
Fall to static void
Infinity ends

Imagine I’m lost without you
Then I find you
And am still lost
But there’s nothing more
To be found

Imagine snow falls on a summer noon
Imagine Santa in Easter
Imagine some born with a paper spoon
Imagine Everest crumbling to dust
Imagine us falling apart.

Ode To My First Born

Red hair
 From my dad.
 Does not describe
 my beautiful child.

 She is poised,
 calm and serene.
 My precious,
 clever queen.

 First born,
 to two nuts.
 Silver spoon.
 Missing.

 Beauty, brains.
 Had a loving start.
 So forgave for
 breaking her heart.

 Feels she needs
 to be in charge.
 Relax babe,
 I am no longer
 up in arms.

 Always there for
 her younger sisters.
 When I was not fit
 to be their mistress.

 I love your calm.
 Your "In control."
 So pleased you are
 a perfect mould.

 Of my confidence
 and Dad's calm.
 His brains.
 My music.

 So proud.
 Can't find words.
 Thank you Edna
 For letting me
 be yours. xx

Baby Me

Baby Me
May 21, 2014 at 5:47pm

Don't call be "Baby", just baby me...

lie me upon your chest skin to skin

rub me down with lotion

Spoon feed me Ice-cream

Sweeten me up for the thrill

carry me into the next room

Lie me down gently -I will coo-

when you say my name

Call me by MY name,

do not call me "Baby"

Just baby me...

Rock me in your arms after you

have loved me intensely

hold me until I sleep

after you have instilled

the seed of joy into my

love stream.

Hold me until we are

joined together in one dream...

 ...Baby me.

Lazy Minds

Lazy minds refuse to see anything beyond the world of “Me”. They don’t want to think about the fact we’re on the brink. They stay in their bubble about to burst because knowledge is scary and for it they don’t thirst. They’d rather be spoon-fed “alternative facts” since the truth requires brave acts. And hate is more comfortable than love. They are of the world, not from above. Love requires effort to understand beyond the abilities of ordinary man.
