Dearest soup tech
Who I love and respect
I write to you
So that you may know
I've tried to be here
With iPad and cheer
But the login fails me
No action tells me
Of possible broken links
One maybe
Just maybe....
My iPad stinks
Meanwhile I sigh
As I try to not cry
As I type again
And hope with intent
That you might check in
... And tell me
How to begin...
Xoxo
Wish me luck
I'm about
To push
The

* Poem Form, (to my best) is Epistrophe or Epiphora, but neither are listed as a form option. Feel free to suggest a fitting Poetry Soup Poetry Form. Until then, It's in the, “I don’t know” category.

Stirring in more love just for you

You are and always will be to me

Forgive me, the "Backwards Poem" form is not an option on Poetry Soup so I listed it as a "verse". It is a form of poetry which can be read correctly downwards and upwards also.
I used a strict syllable count of: 1-2-2-3-3-4-4-5-5-4-4-3-3-2-2-1

2 cups hugs plus one cup love
and a Christmas tree
Gifts favored with care
3 cups grins 2 cups kisses

Chocolaty treats
Tablespoon of handholding
and Christmas stockings
Candy cane delights
Two and a half cups laughter

A true blessing given to me
Helpful hints and missed spelled words
All giving me love in your words
My head is not so big
To help me when in need
My heart fills with smiles
When I make a mistake

Lovely, smooth, bright and sunny
A pied piper for me
He speaks of love in phrases pure
His words take wing, on airborne tour
Soaring high and free
Yet he himself is down to earth
Epitome of cheer and mirth
A humble soul is he
Always has an encouraging word
'Good friend' the honor on him conferred

Bitter taste, there is a fly in the soup

Forever my BFF
Your heart
Your smiles
You cared, when others wouldn't
You are one of a kind,
No one here will ever come close, to the beauty from your heart
Linda my bff, I miss you, and I wish you were here
You made this place a better place
You made this place shine
One day my friend, I will see you and again,
In a place, where you are the Angel
Welcoming me' for a second time,
Holding the door to another home, as you did here on the soup.
I love you my BFF Linda-Marie.

I had never written a haiku before joining poetry soup in February 2014. I love the traditional format of 5, 7, 5 syllables and the fact so few words can create such wonderful images in your mind.

I see only the brightness and beauty
Of her eyes
Golden hairs,
I am envious to caress her sun rays
As I discover the universe,
Thrusting into the abscess of loves black hole
The void of loves creation begins again
Notes: This poem was inspired by a recent poem here in soup, as a kinda contest, guess who that poet and poem is, and win first prize, if 100 guess the right answer, guess what, thats 100 first prizes!!!!!

T’is not a soup to stir nor share
When lending strength, to something wrong.
Seconds cloned from darkest matter
Mutated minutes dredged by fear
Mind confusion as reason shatters
Innocents lanced by emotion's spears.
Flowers edge the steps and fences
Prayers are uttered near a shrine
Notes of love, as grief commences
A vigil wrought by hearts sublime.
Picking up the scattered pieces
Light must shine to crack the dawn
Support can smooth the furrowed creases
Only hope can make their spirits strong.

If life is death, do live Elizabeth,
And read my words although I'm far away
Your soul is light beside my dying breath,
With metaphors I'll die to live today
I love you more than sun-light loves the day
Elizabeth, thou art a Queen of mine,
And Angels touch you with poetic rhyme,
With words you whirl a wind I never knew
You write with beauty and you are divine
So wear this ring and kiss my rhyme to you

a taste of delight
if only I could show you
the pleasures of tender love
that shines like golden honey
caramel apples aureate
strewn across the heavens of
cotton candy on ole buttermilk sky
set it free from its trap in the terminal
enchantment blanket of pea soup fog
into the clean crystal clear wet river and quench the thirst
to the taste and pleasures of deep warm, tender love
like wealth of blushing candy apple red and rainbow colored flowers
seasons of warm and cold like silken sheets
as they drape and cling tightly to our embrace

Emotionally charged
This sweetest of sweethearts
By a margin quite large
Each day to the fullest
She expresses her love
Her passion for life
And the Man up above
My life's been enriched
Since meeting Miss Boop
So happy to have met her
Here on the Soup
It's not every day
We find such connection
With another soul
With such great affection
Have a good friend
