James Bond the Poet

Double oh Sevens
The gamble of dangerous men
Poets who carry guns
To shoot out the hearts
Of unsuspecting ladies
A single word, a bullet
That can wound or kill the love
Of any careless romance
Yet they fall at the feet
Of mystery and sweet words
And later in the evening
Tears flow from ladies of sadness
Left alone among the sheets of love
The Spy, he could save the world
Yet save not one single love
He grew old and alone
His last thought among the living
I die a lover, and never felt love

Thirsty Clutch

I wanted something bubbly
Coke with ice cream trick
That fridge, again, empty
So I made my trip to Kwik

Swerving around this town in my horses
Parking up by the front door
No training could have prepared me for
What waited inside the store

Standing with her 2-liter of Diet 7-Up
If I just died, keep me here on heaven
I asked above not be taken so abruptly
Feeling luckier than sevens or elevens

Now she says that this place
Is wherever we stand here
Desiring her within my space
Needing her crystal clear

That gentleness of her touch
As we let go while giving in
When love has got its clutch
In times we are skin to skin

Sweet Release In the Desert

Sweet Release In The Desert

Water splashing mightily into hungry eager soil.
Desert people see clear sign from the heavens
Sweet relief from day to day, dry and sandy toil
Carried out in a horrible year full of severe sevens!

Praise thee! For what reward was this flood sent?
Perhaps a life saved, a dear sweet child born
Or the crying and stored love that was spent
On magical dawning of this blessed new morn!

Above, white clouds show image of an angel singing
Cool winds now wash over thirsty tribe below
Now vanished, huge tears and sad hand wringing
For this miracle was, as great as Christmas snow!

At Sixes and Sevens

Somewhere decorum, somewhere pandemonium
Somewhere parsimony, somewhere bleeding heart
Somewhere love, somewhere hatred
Somewhere revenge, somewhere forgiveness

Somewhere bondage, somewhere liberty
Somewhere eccentricity, somewhere selflessness
Somewhere egoism, somewhere humility
Somewhere complexities, somewhere simplicity

Which ones to permit the soul?
To acclimatise and dominate
Life keeps changing every spur

Discrepancies are inevitable
To be water or a rock?
Will it attain a pool of boundless solitude?

New Haven Boulevard

I saw her beauty standing there
In her cherry brick made house..
Strolling up as asking for a light
Arranging my blouse amid hope
She might like, what she finds ?
Thirty-sevens adjusting my skirt
Swaying my hips wetting my lips.

Wielding Obscure Brightness

Comfort and bright light
Never shading the obscure
Blind to love awakening
Listening to truth
Keeping my eyes on over
Being concerned with brightness

Fragments of My Heart

I have bared it time and again
with the innocence of a child,
and showed you all my grief and pain
a bleeding heart that smiles,
now show me once your concealed heart
to find what lies there
fragments of this numb heart,do you still share.

He Knows Your Name

One light

in the universe of stars.

One grain

from the sands of endless time.

By name

He knows the fruit of what you are.

A single droplet

in an ocean full of rhyme.

 By the numbers

you are one with Him above.

By the sevens

He reveals what is to come.

Through your faith

He fills the spirit with His love.

By your name

He knows each day, what shall be done.

In His garden

you are the flower that blooms with season

To bring you life,

by sacrifice, is why he came

And with His pardon,

He forgives without a reason.

He is the change in who you are...

He knows your name.
