Last Night When You Were In Deep Sleep

Last night when you were in deep sleep I scribbled a poem on your bare back, a page so soft--with love bites and moles I used them to cut the t's and dot the i's; my finger tips' softly turn created ripples in a placid lake where you prepared to take a dip in your dream, my words followed you in that unknown land secretly to know your destination. I remembered to forget every scribbled word as it was my gift to the sleepless night, she was picking up each word one by one and kept them in her lap of silence. For the first time, you never knew how a poem was born and lost in the silence of night. © kash poet (kashinath karmakar) =====================================

The Wedding Ring

I've heard the music a smile secretly sings
And the sudden thunder a teardrop brings
No beginning or ending round a golden wedding ring
Together love and time keep on turning

It takes but one breath to keep on living
When your dreams and sorrows become the same thing
Empty eyes open there for the forgiving
Then memories invade, night becomes morning

Like the ring we wear, no beginning or end
We search to see where this journey shall send
Apart we are halfed neither night or day
Where nothing can grow, shall it be that way?

I Am Autumn

"this poem is not about what is written, but what is not written..."

My smile brings shores of shadows in the sky
A smile unsure of happiness and bliss
I touch the trees and watch their branches cry
A tear itself leaves from my face amiss
As tears and leaves descend into abyss

I come descending from the grey above
To bring a quarter of my seasons love
A love compared to death, natures demise
And with my lips I kiss the things you love
Secretly keeping Summer's butterflies!

A Kiss Goodnight, Soon To Be a Kiss Goodbye

I'll kiss you as you sleep,
But secretly I shall also weep,
For it seems you are now away from me,
Wandering about with my parallel self,
In the sweet world of dreams.

I'll kiss you as you die,
But secretly, away from others, I shall also cry,
For then it would seem you are going away from me,
Wandering about with the Lord for all eternity,
In the sweet world of higher being.

Fall Asleep In Your Arms

The desire grows,
the bond strengthens,
to let you hold me in your arms.

closer.
stronger.

oh, how I'd love to fall asleep in your arms,
for they are safe I know,
warm with comfort.
don't move a muscle,
breathing heavy,
wishing time would come to a hault just for us.
never to let a moment slip,
without full appreciation and affection,
of how lucky we are to have found one another,
when not really looking with our eyes,
but letting our hearts lead the way
in the direction they had secretly planned,
without us fully knowing.

Secretly Scary

When life gets suddenly scary, you search around for a safe place. And try blocking reality: with tricks of imagination. Anxieties begin to climb: when life gets suddenly scary. And paranoia stalks your thoughts; overshadowing happiness. Ghosts of buried yesteryears haunt; while memories morph into tears. When life gets suddenly scary: Love retreats into wishful dreams. But dreams only come out at night: for fantasies fade in sunlight. And you're held hostage by your fears: when life gets suddenly scary.

In Response

In response

To your worried heart

Mind, mouth and stomach

Your busy thoughts

In response to your

Shaking hands and ill head

Your rightfully placed overreactions

You're right in placing them…pacing then

In response to your love for me

Well I cannot ignore it

So I blush and beg for it

Secretly…of course

You are my everything and I will do anything

To hush your fears

Untold

Oh, how I blush, in appeal of your zeal
Enthralled in treasured memories of glee
As words not said, intimately unseal
Verses of love arousing latent plea
In caged lofty dreams, longing to be free
Flirting secretly, letting passions rise
Pulsing my vibes, sensing sensuous highs;
Alas, my youth then, had nary a clue
How to woo your smile, courting doting eyes--
Bashful to tell you, how much I loved you.

In Pursuit of Joy

joy in life, hard to find. so tough to keep. it's always sought for, it’s a song that resounds, a blessing that wraps the soul, a mirage that eludes the mind, a fleeting shadow, never concrete, it's like a treasure secretly hidden. everyone wants to experience joy. it comes when heart is hopeful and strong. it flits on the smiles of cute babes. reach out your heart to own it. it is a state of mind. strive hard to have it. can access it, with a heart, full of, love.

Destruction of Love

My Heart is torn out, beats it's last and then no more,

My love stands over me, as I lay on the floor.

She did it, She Killed me, by leaving me a broken man,

Assasinated by my Lover's hand.

She once filled my heart with laughter and song,

She once comforted and loved me all the day long.

Only secretly cavorting, a plan to steal,

To destroy, to rent out, all I could feel.

It is torn out, beats it's last and then no more,

My love stands over me, as I lay on the floor.

She did it, She Killed me, by leaving me a broken man,

Assasinated by my Lover's hand.

Morning Coffee

in my dream of dreams
i wake so gently
nudge you as you sleep

the caress to tantalize you
aroma seductive in the air
café au lait brought to your lips

secretly how I long to be
the sprinkle of sugar in your cup
the jam on your croissant
your morning ray of sunshine

o how I long to be
the spark of joy
upon your smile

Ardor

your music moves
clouds in the cool sky
spellbound embracing stars

thoughts knot and pool
with ardor emotion
listening to you play music
with the push and pull
of each black and white key
like the free back and forth
rhythmic gentle motion
of the ocean tide
as I too magically hypnotize
in a dream moving upon its waves

twining blush feelings rush
as l lean forward
and focus upon your face
you briefly elope
and secretly steal
a glance upon mine

through your unspoken
hush words touching my heart
letting your mere utterance
escort the melody
melt down my spine
then back up again
yearning for ardor
emotion of your touch
through the ebbing night

Shades of Gray

SHADES OF GRAY

A gray wool sweater
she pulls tightly
to her neck
hiding
what little skin
shows and a shiny
silver necklace lacks courage.

The cold gray girl
in the library
tries secretly
to hide
her femininity.
I want to tell her
she is worthy of love.

Does she know I’m watching?
Does she think I’m
a predator
waiting
to pounce?
I want to scream,
“I’m just a people-watchin’ poet”.

One more question about
the gray-wrapped girl:
is her fear a
reflection
of her insecurities
or of my gray mind and
the ghosts that inhabit there?

Catching Fire- Poem

This poem is inspired by the second book in The Hunger Games Series. Warning- Contains
Spoilers!

Sparks aflame
Fire and rage spread
Nowhere to go
Nowhere to run!

The capitol want's revenge!
They will do anything to get it.
Back into the arena I am sent
Pitting Peeta and I against each other.

A marriage proposal
never to be fufilled
they tricked us
It will never happen.

I have to go on
a twist in the story
Tick,tock,tick, tock
The arena is a clock

All living tributes
taken out of the arena
a official is secretly a rebel
wanting to overthrow the capitol

But where is Peeta?
No where to be found
Caputured in the hands of the capitol
I must save him!

Your Sex and My Mind

Feeling you through the
tenderness of your fresh
I musically hear the tone
as you whisper my name
and while lusting through
the sexual needs I feel,
my imaginations secretly
plan the crucifixion of this
intimate moment.

Healed you'll be as you
feel me and bleed in relief
as you lay beneath the
manhood in me. Captivated
you'll be as before you I'll
kneel waiting to woo you
physically. The sexiness of
you fulfils the lust of my
flesh and the beauty of your
mind leaves my kindly waiting
the pleasures of you inside.

Like a Lark

My lady has a passion like a lark Her burning heart is made from a small spark Immortality strikes what’s never lame She’s never burnt by the eternal flame My lover holds some joy here before me In a sentiment unlike what we see There’s solid power through her perfect skies Opening amazement inside her eyes Her love boils to the surface with bubbles She plays a soft harp which in turn doubles Secretly time has eloped through to her A desire that’s unlike any other A myriad purchased by her tenderness Countless touches into my awareness Russell Sivey

R&R

Silently I contemplate
Secretly I desire your essence
Cardiff is another land, a far away shore
Absent from my lust, yet craving still
Drowning within my self, I lay myself down

And

Divesting my thoughts into the winds
Victory is surviving with only lingering pains
Hieroglyphic messages of undying love I leave
Even a Libra can not always balance the scales
Even a heart has only so many beats

Pondering a Purpose

Secretly in my heart, I am weary
pondering a purpose from above
even though I know God's love
this life at times has been teary

has my life has been in vain
adrift in this place, we call earth
I have been this way since birth
pondering what keeps me sane

I count all the blessings in life
to most strangers, I always smile
hoping it might stay there awhile
helping others with their strife

so is this my purpose from God
sending a little kindness and love
I look up to that big guy above
if this is his plan I feel flawed

Defying Odds

To take a risk and live trying
  always resume positive thinking
    with reasonable doubt inquiring
making love instead of secretly dying

For what is life living with a lover lying
compelling fears and tears co signing
starting over is better then a fear stagnant enables crying
significant meaning to true love endless passions defining

~searching the soul for answers never resigning ~

Marriage Proposal

Moment I had waited whole my life,
Through my joys and bounds of strife,
Will it happen not or will it be,
That he proposes to marry me ?

The first day as our eyes carved,
For togetherness as if they starved,
Wasn't sure the day would be,
That he proposes to marry me ?

Those romantic meetings secretly,
As the passion grew tempestuously,
Resistance from family if, let it be,
That when he proposes to marry me?

Today is the day and now the moment,
Dreams and desires trued prudent !

One Hundred Love Sonnets Xvii

I do not love you as if you were
A flow of pink petals billowing a fire;
I love you as I love certain things secretly
Within the shadows of my heart

I love you as a plant that does not bloom
But holds hidden inside itself: the light of all flowers,
And thanks to your love, living darkly in my body
Is every rich aroma that rises from the earth

I love you without knowing how, when or from where
I love you directly without problems or pride
I love you this way because I have no other way

Only this one, in which there is no you or I
So close that your hand upon my chest is mine
So close that when I yawn, it is your sleepy eyes that close

Peace On Earth

Peace on earth I cherish so much without doubt
Even if rancour exist between many nations
Active participation in peace talks brings about
Cumulative efforts to end external aggressions
Existing between the Jews,Palestinians and other nations

Orchestrated by selfish interest, religious bigotry and favoritism
Now is the time to shun racism, ethnicity and neocolonialism

Expanded programs on maintenance of peace would be a good notion
Action must be taken against leaders who commit genocide secretly
Reports made on any country producing weapon of mass destruction
The superpowers must demonstrate love by conceding more to really
Help the poorer nations to overcome their economic quagmires.

Day Dreamer

A boy she secretly adores now stands beyond the doorway, and his eyes, grey blue, are fixed on her. A rose is in his hands. Her heart is fluttering. What should she do? A sheltered girl, required to spend her time on music practice and the study of the scriptures, she prefers the art of rhyme and topics like the rapture of true love! The young man watching her has now drawn near. He’s come to rescue her from drudgery! Embracing her, he whispers in her ear familiar words - her own sweet poetry! She’s called to dinner. All thought leaves her head. The lover and her muse - with him - have fled!

In the Stacks

IN THE STACKS

in the library
how wonderful all the books
in the stacks
among all the books
is where we secretly meet

in the library
at that little table
in the stacks
i said i love you
you said let’s just be friends

in the library
i found my heart’s desire
among romance novels
forgot the author’s name
g.w. something or other

in the library
in the stacks
beneath the “quiet” sign
we obeyed the rules
just kissing and feeling
