fantasy, love,
Earth woos Venus but she is resistant,
reflecting light of sol in the night sky,
mirrored by her lover who’s persistent,
that tango dancing, tremulous hearts sigh.
The girl next door is the beauteous moon,
who planet earth does date from time to time
for when in full bloom, she makes his heart swoon
but Venus alone awakens love’s chime.
Playing spoilsport, Mars spits venom and fire,
whilst jilted Saturn casts a dark shadow,
since for hand of Venus, they both aspire,
though it’s fated neither can be her beau.
Love letters carried on a comet’s tail,
declare those who’re pure of heart will not fail.

a yearning of alabaster guilt given birth
from this mouth of words mesmerising
like rings of Saturn, behold encroached
by your retort, cutting if not comic, life
adjacent to corners of some death, you
lit fires with a tongue and let them burn
reeling in oceans, as salamander heads
lined exotic craters of timely eruptions
yet honey melts heaven in a single kiss

baby, daughter,
Standing high upon the knot
In my ladder years,
I claimed to be the king.
Now, the crown horrifies me.
Still some gentle cruise is within me.
Like Saturn turned upside-down.
Would we notice the madness in the crème?
If there’s anyone that’s going to point the way for you it’s me.
Not out of self-aggrandizement, out of pure love,
And full, final redemption for all my short-comings.
How do I stop the avalanche?
Why do I feel I need to stop the avalanche?
Is it really an avalanche?
Or do I like playing with visions,
Responding to my own antics with mock melodrama?
Let the bizarre stay bizarre.
I’ll be in the corner selling coconuts.

beautiful, love, lust, science fiction,
You may not believe this
but my last lover
was an extraterrestrial
which caused me great distress
the way she transformed me
her out of this world dress.
She brings winter with her overnight
pseudo-snow fell rocket high
a siren unlike all the other girls
a pleasing form to my human eyes
making love underneath force field
captivating planetarium starlit skies.
Kisses of rapture times warp speed
circling around the rings of Saturn
I will follow her to the end of the galaxy
my lips locked to hers, I love her
beam me up my darling and kiss me
my lovely and beautiful femalien...

Betrayal my love, lift high the laterne
Face Venus in retrograde traverses
Translucent on corners remote curses
Born black, myriads of stars find Saturn
Accouterments of time form a pattern
Empty space ends where voided souls cascade
She lives on the outer planet decayed
Contaminated world spins through that turn
Our cold orbits cross paths, not each others
Nor touch warm hands taken now for granted
Stay safe with lies deprived of what is true
World of beauty, frost covered, not lovers
Skate ice bands above the outer planet
Slice through the heart, the frigid night in two

conquer it far beyond the rays of the sun
sprinkle it gently like pearls and sea-sand
spread it to saturn
whisper it inevitably to every soul
spread the love
to young and old
blow it spreading warm gust
inearth it ,watch it blossom-jasmine,violet and irish and more
sail with it across the seven seas
mark it with a new dynasty
paint the world
let us all come and spread the love that we all need.

birth, brother, care, funny,
Could we engage further through attempting light
Can the light make us kiss under the sun again
Should we be so close that the gravity hurts
Akin to two massive bodies that split each other in half
(Saturn and Jupiter)
Will the love of self be overshadowed by a greater sense
Of the perfect need to be amazing
Do we move with the motivation of the gods
Has the new language made sense to no one
As the wind moves across the frontal lobe
The cortex keeps it incredible
A fifth dimensional kiss within a dream

* (Saturn is esoterically associated with the twelfth month of December)
… raining, raining! – disrobed heaven’s
chain of glittering tears
washing our earthen face, and
I raise my umbrella
thinking of you
in the shattered liquid glass
around us…
… warmth of our enveloping womb…
* * *
… let’s cross the *lyric mountains
to the sunset and beyond,
not satisfied until we reach
the dawn we
hold in each others hands…
* (for the Lerik Mountains in Azerbaijan)

… narcissists, your glorious eyes
feeding on me, boiling-ravenous
smacking lips,
glutted upon our saturnalian feast…

beauty, happiness, love,
If I had a million stars shining ever so bright,
And threw in Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars.
It still wouldn’t equal the light,
Your smile creates in my heart.
If I sailed all the oceans of blue,
In search of something more magnificent.
Nothing could compare to you,
The color and depth of your eyes are truly translucent.
If I traveled around the planet,
And saw the eight wonders of the world.
I’d know your beauty has no limit,
As it takes my breath while its slowly unfurled.
If I had all the money,
And material things it can provide.
It could not satisfy as amply,
As the happiness I feel inside.

Life like a poem in creation
Fluid like a verb
Like the night sky it shimmers
A diamond falling as rain on Saturn
Our futures uncertain
Minds forever pondering origins
A universe with boundless imagination
Like Saturn is life
A dance wild and free
spinning rings through shadows
Light endlessly skipping
Through infinite space
Igniting a burning
Beginning of passion life will resonate
Life like a wheel on a gyroscope
Balance created by motion
It stands on a wire....

In other words, Honey kiss me

Fill my heart with peace
Let me smile for ever more
You are all I long for

In other words, please be loyal

angel, inspirational love,
Got Venus in my heart
Got Saturn spinning in my mind
All those lessons learned
All that love denied
Got battles never fought
Got wars never won
Was too afraid to conquer ‘em
Was too afraid to move on
Got Mars in my heart
Got Raphael on my shoulder
Got Jupiter pulling me
To a place that is warmer
Got Pluto in my eyes
Putting transformation in sight
Got Uranus in my spirit
Making individuality advised
Got Mercury in my throat
Giving me the strength to speak
Got Neptune over my head
and in my dreams
Got all these strengths
Just like everyone else
Got love for myself
and everyone in my fifth house.

The joy of darkness returns to
That place from which it has once grew
Freedom expressed once was depressed
Collars and shackles now gone
Soon your body will be on the mend
Lesson Saturn teaches does tell
Life repeated cycles comes pain

stars,
If I was to travel far from this place, could I escape the human race?
Would there be peace among the stars?
Could love be found on Venus or Mars?
Is God out there to choose my fate?
Perhaps for the Earth it is already too late.
Would Mercury or Uranus make a good home?
Could the surface of Saturn be a good place to roam?
Is Pluto or Jupiter a heavenly place?
Could Neptune be home to an alien race?
All these questions I continue to ponder
as I dream of the stars and the worlds far beyond here.

Displaced without a shelter
Looking for the fate love
Wander you a bachelor moon
Everything abandoned leaving home
Freedom for unsatisfied life

since I told you
I wanted the moon
since you promised
you would give it
perhaps you were
busy with other things
maybe jumping
from saturn to neptune
or riding the milky way
now you kneel before me
offering your hands
full of moondust
but it seems as though
my heart forgot
as if my love is
sick with alzheimers

life, uplifting,
Astronomy is what i like, gazing at the stars in the bright moonlight. I can sit up for hours
with no hesitation, just me looking out at the constellation. Jupiter saturn pluto and mars,
are a few planets that live with the stars. There are others in the galaxy, like venus uranus
neptune and mercury. But wait a minute i'm not done, there's a bigger star and it's called the
sun. It gives off heat beyond compare, and without those rays we'd be nowhere. No trees no
flowers or showers of love, so we better give thanks to the man above.

Many years ago Galileo scanned the sky
And was astounded with a wondrous sight
Colorful rings around this planet
Saturn's glory in the starry night
Those rings are made of coldest ice
Just like the rings around your heart
You will not break those telling bands
Nor let my love pull them apart
The rings and moons of Saturn
Far beacons in the distant sky
Give rise to our contemplation
And the age old question.".why?"
For the Ring contest..
