beauty, emotions, feelings, heart, love, pain, paradise,
A teardrop falls deeply—slicing and aching
hurt twisting knots around the deepest fingers
love you from my heart warmest emotions so
in each kiss of your beauty I feel all of you
worth the suffering and pain that happens
gaining rewards in the end—undiminished love
happiness such a precious gift for us forever
the teardrop falls now freely in your honor
it spills warmly and gently in your name love
as grace is my honor to bear this noble sacrifice
with joy and I find you now my sweetest sunshine
with happiness being my one-way ticket to paradise

love,
Our fellow travelers,
What measure of trust for them?
The moment's imperfections are easily, even instinctively overlooked -
We risk for their benefit, sacrifice for their good.
Minutes stretched, the holy person spoke to all comers
As I heard love's woman,
Hanging on the pierced and tattooed man.
What did she see, he was fractional to me;
Her freely-given look demanded no return,
Love's area of the mind spreading over others.
Was it that he'd only hit her once?
The sightless mother's fingers over the face of her child
Tenderly traced that juncture of skin and hour,
Acquiring an instant in time.

The Deposition
The love God gives remains unbound.
Jesus of Nazareth came down.
Everlasting, His love abounds.
Deliverer and Redeemer: crucified, He died.
Eternal sacrifice, His perfect life tried.
Painfully executed, giving no retort to their lies.
Omnipotent creator, teacher, and revelator
Righteous, He lived, and died; over sin the victor.
Incomprehensible pain He, for us bore.
Two women, Mary, His mother, and Mary Magdalene
Inconceivable how perfect love and wisdom fomented.
Overcome with grief, Nicodemus and more lamented.
Never ending love, on the third day Jesus the Christ, alive presented.

beautiful, friend,
In breath-taking elegance, the "Cinder Girl" walks
she was the moon once, but now a frightful dusk.
A grave message through "Fire and Ice"
mortals must learn to sacrifice.
pulsating everywhere, before the dawn of man
that is "How Poetry began."
darkness was adorned by moon-rays bright
"Come out and play, you creatures of Night."
The sun refused to shine, as evil shadows around them crept
That was the day, "When the Heaven and Earth wept."
...and thus she spins her endless tales
that spreads forth in the winds and dales.
A deluge of emotions mix and blend
creating miracles,I don't know to what end.
may almighty watch her from above
as she spreads her muse and love.

let me ...
you are the All
your need is my pleasure -
your pleasure, my need
i, water to your vessel, rain to your bloom
your fingers are the spaces in mine
your body ... the bread of my desire -
and the altar of my sacrifice
let me fill my hollows ... sip your wine
oh let me ...
you are the One
the reef i break myself upon
and the soft sand beach that receives me
i, your spindrift ...
washed shore-ward by the storm
you are my mercy ...
bind me with your sorrows
let weep, the blood of pain and passion
wrap me in your wings
and let me.

death, lost love
Perched
upon his resting place, Raven made her call
She
planned to join her lover, using powder and a ball
Gazing
at the markers where the predeceased were laid
She
watched her namesake circle, and heard his woeful voice,
Then
mused the circumstances that took her partner’s life.
Could
sacrifice unite them?
Is there an afterlife?
And
listening to the chilling call,
Raven made her choice.

love,
This, I do so, willingly.
Without reservations of the heart.
I offer my shoulder to thy wheel,
my strength, to thus impart.
My voice, I lend to your cause.
Champion, to which you undertake.
My arms, I spread to encompass,
kith and kin, you now care take.
A heart, that beats strong and true.
That has known joy and felt deep weeping.
One, so full of love for you,
I give, unto your keeping.
If there were the need so great,
as to sacrifice completely.
My life, I 'd give, for yours to spare.
This I do, so willingly.

devotion, love, romance, love, poets,
The silent dark encroaches
with another hollow night.
Old poets whisper sonnets
of love and sacrifice.
Her lips move to each arduous verse;
the emptiness advances.
Crescendos find their soaring crests.
A taunting shadow dances.
The moment lingers at a peak
then brings a slow descent.
And as the final stanza bows
her yearning heart relents.
Her memory finds his gentle face.
His voice resounds a vow.
And a quiet faith moves through her
expelling any doubt.
Soon her love will cross the sea;
his promises to keep.
Until that time, the poets sing
and soothe her soul to sleep.

She was much more than a beautiful Mother
Never desired to be anything other
Her family became her first priority
Her gift for teaching, she shared in charity
When times grew hard and Papa didn’t work
She never complained, but became the “cork”
Inventing ways to ease his strain
Baking, tutoring, her clever ways to stop the drain
My mind holds these snapshots of childhood days
My heart bears a journal of words she’d say
'Always remember that sacrifice is love.’
One in a Million, My Mama above!

love,
Somewhere among the bent soft grass, we lay
And dream of days to come to touch a heart
And seek to fly above the clouds at play
With hope and wishes that these dreams will start
Shall I caress the face of love, my dear?
And find the world now lost in paradise
Bound forever by truest love sincere
To love our purest heart we sacrifice
The sun will be a witness to this day
And hear the words we whisper to each ear
Moonlight's silhouettes, the day drifts away
With the ambiance from the shadows near
To confess a love that binds words convey
Somewhere among the bending grass, we lay

love,
the skin that tingles when lips meet
will probably demand forever
but this heart that beats out of rhythm
from the touch of a dream
must say no to a blush and promises
instead I'm beholding to sacrifice
what cannot be laid down

crucify! crucify him! -
hatred replaces love

perfect sacrifice

God's only son conquered death -

mother, mother daughter,
Mother's love is something
that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
A Mother is one who
understands the things
you say and do
Who always overlooks
your faults and sees the
best in you
Thank you...
For standing by me through thick and thin
For not giving up on me when I didn't win
For your patience when I kept pushing you away
For caring even when I didn't need it anyway!
For everything you have done,
and all that you do,
I'm fortunate and lucky,
to have you!
I love you mummy.
Happy mother's day

introspection, parents, sorry,
Did our parents not have better things to do-
better things than to suffer our indifference-
our rebellion-
better things to do than return to us love
for hatefulness-
patients for intolerance-
self sacrifice for our selfishness?
Seems that they could never get it right-
In every thing we thought ourselves wise-
our parents foolish-
then the worst thing they ever did
was to go and die-
they died and took with them
all we now ache to know-
but now never will-
we were just too wrapped up-
too wrapped up in ourselves to ask them-
we always thought there would be time-
someday.

devotion, love,
For your love, I would gladly beg or likewise crawl.
I would build expectations tall and let them fall.
Yes, with assured glee, I would sacrifice my all
to couple navigate life’s unmapped, ziggy sprawl.
With you, I am willing to crash, burn out or stall,
as your passenger, heart-fast fastened, by your side.
I would build expectations tall and let them fall.
For your love, I would cruise lost or found in a glide.
Color me crazy bent if crazed so shades love’s intent.

Trying to steal from the poor
And start a global war
What good are you for?
Selling products that kill
So your pockets can get filled
Don't be flabbergasted if your own blood is spilled
No suprise
Another telling continual lies
Is always unwise
And going to decay away covered in swarms of flies
Regarding their demise
No care for the world
Too far gone and about to hurl
Can't even be there for your little girl
There's just no excuse, even if your an earl
Willing to sacrifice your own blood
And the ones you love
Is beyond dumb
Regardless of if your young

love, love hurts,
Why can't it be found
Love! Stop eluding me.
Love is giving, caring, kind, patient, selfless...but why is it so elusive?
Am I not giving enough? Caring enough?
Am I not kind enough? Patient enough?
Do I not live a selfless life?
How much should one compromise?
How much does one sacrifice
How much more pain should one endure
Before it is said that love is found?
Where does one look for love?
And in whom will love be found?
How does one determine when love is truly found?
How worthy am I,
How worthy are you, to be loved?
Can this thing called L O V E be found?

death, faith, funeral, hope, life, loss, peace, people, political, social, war, world,
You’re our hero
The poor and impoverished
Captive starving millions
Cry
Tears of anguish
Tears of dread
The cost of their Hero’s burial
Is too their debt
Their sacrifice
The living for their leader
The hungry little ones
Cry
The world watches on
In fear
My Hero gave it all
His life
A willing sacrifice
His perfect life
His perfect love
His cost
Our hatred
That we might live
His excruciating death
Has not left us comfortless
And soon to be
Our resurrection of renewal
We the loyal few weep for what we did
His life for ours
The rest rejoice because you died
The world now looks on
In fear

lost love,
It’s an ache in my chest,
A loss of breath,
Hot tears and no rest.
It’s a sacrifice of love
On a platter of pain.
Down low I remain.
It’s a fall from grace
To a dark empty place.
Disgraced.
It’s a loss of my sun,
A bloody moon,
Banished from paradise too soon.
It’s a why and a how,
A mystery,
To go from heaven to misery.

Pain in the prophecy of wings through sultry sky
Orchestrating vision, love, destiny
Emancipating the tongue to tattle tales taloned with grief
Triumphing in truth to tumult another joy
Reel all poets in, glistening on a silver sliver of string
Yearning to for a final travail, immortality on wing.
Please God, tonight, dry her tears
Oyster her heart in your love
Eternal comforter of cares
Mystic center of the universe, a dove
Perpetual are music mustering our minds to sing
Overtones from the litany of emotions
Easeless wonder, sacrifice, oblation, offering
Tremulous thunder eastering devotions
Sweetly from the ragged anthems of our gift.

relationship,
She sits and reads, or chatters on the phone
voice lilting, dancing, chirping like a bird,
he sits in the same room with her, alone
and stares at her, his thoughts all go unheard.
He vowed to sacrifice, the day they wed,
have and to hold for better or for worse,
beguiling promises that he was fed
curdled like sour milk into a curse.
Silence between them like a washing line,
passion dried in the wind then put away,
to all around them everything is fine
soiled love can be hung out another day.
When nothing is the bond, then nothing ties
hollow relationships, false smiles and lies
(not for contest, it's a rough draft I finally got round to finishing)

lost love, love, sad, me, time,
I know in time when I look back
on my almosts and what ifs
I'll hate my self for missing
an opportunity like this
But I'm afraid to hold you close
to let you come up near
for it seems I bring nothing but pain
to all that hold me dear
I want to tell you I can see you
every time I close my eyes
but I'm afraid this will fade as it has before
and I can't stand to see you cry
so I'll choose to just keep silent
and claim ignorance to what I feel
it'll kill me to just let you go
but I'm saving you by keeping this sealed
