love, me,
"TOUCH"
I want to touch your life
and leave a mark ...
... a deep impression ...
So you will think of me
and of my smile ...
... my sweet expression ...
I long to touch your life
and leave a sign ...
... a warm inscription ...
So you will care for me
and keep in mind ...
... a clear description ...
I need to touch your life
and leave a joy ..,.
... an inspiration ...
So you will love me soon
in reality ...
... not imagination ...

love,
Distant prayers echo through a lilac sky
light flickers brilliantly in angelic eyes
a yellow crocheted blanket falls to the floor
and a growing heart winks inside.
Kindness breeds kindness in a precious heart
and a kindred spirit lifts and flies free.
helping our fellow man in need
forgiving selfishness and greed
Open up your heart and mind
another child feeds a hungry soul
for one who loves to love, the greatest
blessing of all, is seeing the one you love, love
Whisper soft into the night my dire want
let the rains wash down a growing grace
carry off grandeur into a sequel led estate
as a simple smile adorns a very humble face

~ECLIPSE~
The shining light hides behind my eyes,
Comes in a super nova surprise
My spirit glides into the skies,
Spreading the perfect heat like the sunrise
I was like a diamond under the beauty of the ocean!
My current rides out with smooth motions,
Leaving a taste with intense emotion
Captured by my tides, sunk to my love potion
The sun sends my waves like a mirage of snow
I got the moon to favor upon my glow
With every star touching my inner soul
A glimpse of darkness in my light entwining with a massive flow
Blinded by my own ECLIPSE!
My sun & moon collide
Until the day we both touch lips

longing, love, romantic,
Up above the moon shines brightly;
starlight touches earth so lightly;
passions teasing impolitely.
Midnight whispers, “Carpe noctem.”
Blowing soft the summer breezes
through her hair as nighttime pleases,
and the moonlight softly teases.
Voices urging, “Carpe noctem.”
Standing close our bodies facing;
hand in hand our fingers lacing;
gentle touches, hearts are racing.
Longings begging, “Carpe noctem.”
Wonder where her thoughts are leading;
do my eyes reveal my pleading?
Will she, with her voice conceding,
whisper softly, “Carpe noctem?”

love, me, me,
You loved me just a little
You never loved me long;
But you gave my soul serenity
And gave my heart a song.
You loved me for a moment
I found it in your eyes;
But your mouth I could not capture
By temptation or surprise.
Sweet lips that I remember
With a poignant surge of pain
As one remembers fragrance
Of the softly falling rain.
Within this world of wonder
Without warning I feel sad;
The dream I hold still haunts me
For the kiss I never had.

art, beauty,
Shadow not over the words of love
Love is a language known only to the heart
Hear it in the wind and the birds above
Paint it on a canvas skin and call it art
Eternal beauty walks among us all
Seekers of knowledge may know its name
But true wisdom lies in hearing its call
As the oceans cause the moon to wane
Its gentle touch, abundantly crystalline
Euphoric in nature, its secret is kept
With its healing powers all part divine
Though many an angel from love has wept
Compassion and caring, make love's trinity
And kindness a guide that leads to bliss
So make love your one and true reality
For you are worth much more than this

loneliness, sea,
I always answer
Without hesitation
To adventure’s calls
Through waves that toss
Winds that batter
I survive squalls
On a sea of emotion
Alone I swirl
Feeling blue
My rowboat has two oars
Two benches
Shouldn’t it carry two?
Sky and sea
Speak of eternity
But they have each other
I would give all
Just to know love
And sail with another

sorry, thank you,
Dearest soup tech
Who I love and respect
I write to you
So that you may know
I've tried to be here
With iPad and cheer
But the login fails me
No action tells me
Of possible broken links
One maybe
Just maybe....
My iPad stinks
Meanwhile I sigh
As I try to not cry
As I type again
And hope with intent
That you might check in
... And tell me
How to begin...

Wish me luck
I'm about
To push
The

america, for her, for him, friend, friendship, growth, how i feel, international, journey, love, racism, school, social, together, truth, uplifting,
Love is not a color,
No hue, neither a race.
All of our blood is the same,
That runs deep within our veins.
If we could lift up each other,
And know that we all care.
If we help our sisters and brothers,
There's a bond that we'll share.

love,
"Crayon Caresses"
blue velvet sky caresses
pink cotton candy clouds
beneath a gold umbrella
red heartbeats breathing loud.
a yellow Sun kisses skin
of silky bronze glowation
footprints carve love in brown sand
while white waves crest formation.
green trees hide secret embrace
while purple passion prowls
viewing an orange sunset
rose petals play on towels.
silvery stars illuminate beach
as amber heavens sleep
magenta magic smiles so sweet
chase black and grey to ocean's deep.
...crayola rainbow lovers' leap ...

devotion, faith, religion,
Amazing love,
Amazing grace,
You gave Your life,
You took my place.
I should have died,
On Calvary's tree,
But You stepped in,
And died for me.
What can I say?
What can I do?
To show my love,
My gratitude?
To You my Lord,
My Savior King,
For becoming my
Sin offering?
Here is my heart,
Here is my soul,
Come Lord Jesus,
Take control.
The old is gone,
You've made me new.
You died for me,
I'll live for you.

friendship, light,
"a shining star"
a shining star you shall always be
a jewel in the cosmos that I see
like the snow that glistens white
like the moon that shines bright
you bring out the best in me
when you stand before the ocean blue
feel a gentle embrace intended just for you
when you see a pearl or shell in the sand
know it is me taking you by the hand
know your heart and soul will renew
a grand piano or a single guitar
a source of strength from afar
with words that I have none to give
with hope and love may light live
a shining star is what you are

philosophy,
This life we're living
Is so unforgiving
Reminding us every day
Of games that we played
Choices we made
Dreams that faded away
Paths that were crossed
Loved ones we've lost
Still promising a brighter tomorrow
When that promise is broken
Our wounds rip back open
Leaving hope to drown in deep sorrow
From our very first breath
We're stalked by death
We live our lives in fear
Knowing well it won't last
So we live loose and fast
Look up and the days have become years
We add peace, subtract strife
Find the sum of a life
Discover we've love left for giving
Love that goes wasted
On the bitterness tasted
In a life so unforgiving

angst,
Our shadows were so restless
As we passed from room to room;
They pretended to be living
But they died within their tomb
They shrank a little bit each day
When the sun shone bright above;
And both of us now waste away
In the sadness of lost love.
In days of younger shadows
That danced in noon's bright light;
Laughter floated on the breeze
Till our day turned into night.
Burdened by life's troubles
Our shadows danced no more;
They became the darkened spots
That faded on the floor.
Now death's arms have taken you
Leaving only memories of your face;
The shadow that was part of you
Is now gone without a trace.

absence, bird, blue, lost,
Whispers in the morning
trying to find your way
listen to the bluebird
and what she has to say
The notes are soft and gentle
every one is played for you
the sounds of sweet ambrosia
her feelings ringing true
On painted limbs of sage brush
there's a stillness in the air
love beads are melting
and the bluebird disappear
Whispers in the morning
what once was there is gone
empty is the meadow
off has flown her song

love,
Had I known love, flowers would have bloomed in Spring
I would have danced when hearing whippoorwills sing
But in my heart no seeds of love were sown
No one brought bouquets or called me his own
I wear no wedding ring
I could not soar above clouds on love's wing
There were no strong arms to which I could cling
In my heart, Cupid's arrow would have flown
Had I known love
I was never a Queen, beside her King
No seductive words pulled at my heart string
It beats like others; not made of stone
My laments are a pitiable drone
My eyes would not glisten, my hands not wring
Had I known love

lost, muse, writing,
These are the roads I didn't take
A pause too soon, a turn too late
Lost in the love I never spoke
The poems I never wrote
Gone are the moons I didn't chase
The sun-bloomed wind I didn't taste
The skylines I left incomplete
The stars I didn't seek
Muted are songs which may have brought
A silent music to my thoughts
Fading traces in dim sunsets
Autumns I never kept
Verses yet rise through foggy climes
Reveries of forgotten rhymes
If fractured light once more takes flight
I still have poems to write

time,
Relentless in it’s movement
like the ticking of a clock
as time keeps marching forward
for our future to unlock.
The past is but a memory
the present but a blur;
this moment gone in just a blink
as “now” becomes the times that were.
This ticking seems so infinite
eternal in its life;
forever forging on ahead,
its endless moments rife.
But as for us a different tune,
we know our time will end;
for us the ticking soon will cease;
prepare yourself my friend.
Love your neighbor and your God
and nature here on earth;
give service to your fellow man,
the measure of your worth.

Prayer For Her, This Wounded Heart Healed
Please keep this dream in my lost life
remove painful sting and life filled with strife
Let her dance and sing another sweet tune
as I hold her under this, merciful God's moon.

love, heart, heart,
"Listen! to the Heart"
~~~~~~~~
every heart strums strings of symphony
an open book exploring dreams and fantasies
the lovebeat touches emotions and feelings serene
as candy-filled caramel cremes.
every heart twirls in tune to love and romance
a paradox portrait of lovers in a trance
echoing laughter in harmonious haven
or a fickle falsetto black as a raven.
every heart is a treasure chest of precious jewels
as tenderness comforts those heartaches so cruel
the heart always gives; suddenly takes away
so listen to the heart; hear the words it must say.
friendship, love,
You said age's only a number, beauty's skin deep
Wise words to live by, now if I could only sleep
Humor never can be taken away, have no regrets
Live like there's no tomorrow, an elephant never forgets
Since the day we met, things have been so right
Thankful for our meeting, making spirits bright
No more feeling lonely, no more feeling stressed
Friendships have started, I am feeling blessed
Not a day has passed without a smile on my face
Feeling happy has now become commonplace
Brought together by chance or was it by fate
Any way you put it, my friend, you are truly great
love,
Words flowing like magic, explode off my page
Taking me on journeys, I didn't seek
My mind is just floating, feelings do race
Her spirit is leading, to heaven I think
Reading but living, each chosen word
Caught up in beauty, emotions I trace
My heart is a flutter, tears sometimes fall
In awe of her verses, as much as her grace
Passion and love, I can feel her heartbeat
Sorrow and pain, mistakes made again
Dancing with nature, you take me by hand
Simply you're beautiful, I'm in love with your pen
Spilling of emotions, out onto the page
Poems come alive, for sure they are real
Confide in me please, all that's concealed
My dearest poetess, you make me feel
bereavement, loss, love,
Walking aimlessly through the woods
Searching for that spot we once stood
Pouring out my heart and my tears
Reliving memories of those special years
Red and orange and purple from green
Rich autumn colors, a sight to be seen
The winds of change quickly blowing in
With it a new chapter will soon begin
Not ready to give up, I can't let go
Where am I headed, where will I blow
Lost without you, what am I to do
Darling, my heart is still beating for you
friend, poets,
On you the angels did bestow
a glow your friends would come to know
as star-shine!
For even stars cannot outshine
your countenance. It's as divine
as starlight.
Oh, how you hush those stars, my dear,
from brightly shining when you're near;
they're star-struck.
I too am stricken by your sight.
I'd love to be with you all night
to star-gaze.
Shine on, sweet man, but do not burn
too long or strongly; stars might turn
to stardust!
Dedication to a special person!
love,
Dancing once again with words,
As the two of us, embrace--
Another verse, another rhyme
Of waterfalls, and lace.
Romantic words in meter,
Although where's the gentle kiss?
Where's the touch and feel of it,
The tenderness, I miss?
Need I craft another verse, or two,
Of moon and leafy wood?
Should one appear, and touch my heart,
Then possibly I could.
But what would be the good of it,
Shall my words a love renew?
Then a sonnet I would surely pen
With the imagery of you.
And who can say, though distantly,
Perhaps a spark could grow--
Then I would dance, and cheek-to-cheek...
And let my poems go.
