depression,
What causes someone to sink so low
And let an upright spirit to kneel and bow
To the pressures they are unable to undo
Neither can reverse this malady nor subdue?
Let us not someone retreat in the darkest nook
Before we try all the remedies in the book,
Replenish her love and together ardently pray
And shower her with care night and day.
Disheartening it is to see one of our own thus bear
The burden that lays on her heavy and rare;
Hang in there, Linda! Have faith--PERSEVERE,
Forget not who you are--The poet Destroyer!
Wishing you all the best, Linda, and a speedy recovery!

betrayal, change, desire, emotions,
When you kissed me
A fool fell in love
I became weak in the knees
The world revolved around your halo
Angel eyes captured my imagination
Like Einstein I discovered relativity
Wisdom had been my lonely pathway
Drunk on independent thought
Wondering if those lips would part for me
Wanting to breathe your breath
Gazing longingly
I looked towards you
So quickly
You looked away
my heart sank
When you kissed another boy
Don't forget to read it in reverse.

feelings,
Tantalizing love, how long I’ve known you.
How often I’ve succumbed to you, but
how often I’ve resisted too -
while wanting you so badly.
I’ll never tire of you,
nor do I want to,
for you’ve been a
part of my
greatest
times.
I
have had
to learn to
control myself
when you are around.
I’m not the only one
who loves you more than I should.
You are so good when you are bad!
Oh, to breathe your scent and hold you to
my lips! Delicious food, I adore you.

Released and slowly drifting to the earth,
the leaf departs her tree in mournful grace;
though both will live to see another birth,
none same will be returning in her place.
We meet as always in the space between
the branch's bud and parting leaf stem's end;
a tearful eye, a tugging force unseen
does will the laws reverse, gravity bend.
Enhanced though was the nearly naked tree
by springtime's bloom, her fallen trembling love -
released to serve another destiny -
in turn, will be the better than above.
Leaf falls to rest, and in her fading sigh,
she breathes to tree her final sad goodbye.

beautiful, for her, romantic, romantic love, urban, woman, women,
Arm-in-arm unspoken is the message received; neither of us is looking to disperse;
Standing parallel, hands held laced, with a kiss to yours averse
I'll look for days at a loss for simple ways to remember each smile you intersperse;
Though our dinner is done, can we still be spoons who can also converse?
I hold your head, and we watch the sky fade to honey-red; day, please reverse!
Be damned the stars playing out the scene of all nights past rehearse
As city lights come on all around us, I'm lifted from a lifetime's blinding curse
On this terrace, while they sparkle in your eyes, you're showing me the universe

lost love,
Love, you have given me nothing but pain,
Heartache, sleepless nights and loneliness,
Why do you make me suffer so?
My days are dour and nights grim,
I cannot breathe easy;
Did I do you wrong?
Tell me but once,
Oh, why me?
I ask,
Why?
I,
who have
loved you so,
I want nothing
of this world's riches
But to love and be loved,
Song on my lips and blue sky,
And I have hope and faith in love,
I am not ready to turn my back
For I know love will come my way again!

Resistance continues, into the south.
I watch nightly news with a heavy sigh
Not letting judgments escape from my mouth.
I see the pain that rues life for the same
For their families each suffer loss too.
For those seeking revenge or seeking fame
They know not what damage to souls they do.
Children need to come first, not the adverse
In a sinful will that tears life apart.
Bless all who try to obtain a reverse
That fight for God's light that dwells in their heart.
May love spread throughout in pink healing light
That peace may finally dwell with insight.

In foolish dreams…
Love doth spill,

Poets are a most talented breed
They write of pain, sorrow and joy
They might write of their own lives
Or of a Spring sunrise
Or of a Pug Dog
Of perhaps grief
Perhaps death
Of Faith
Write
Of self
Of seasons
Perhaps the wind
Or of love gone bad
Maybe a growing love
For the love of their children
Or of a deep dark depression
Yes, Poets are a talented breed
I tried a new form for me and maybe a new form...This is a double reverse Nonet...I hope

Post Mortem by David Lustrup 2011
Here I lay....dead
Icy ,black, thick blood, motionless in my veins
Yet i see from my eyes.
Numbness, this world of grey.
I hear the sound of birds wings--scratching, fluttering, playing in reverse.
I lay in rigor, the world goes by in scattered frames.
And the sound is out of sync.
Deafening silence. The icy chill in these bladed raindrops.
I feel them hit my naked lifeless body like anvils,
As I lie cold and dead in this freezing grave of your absence.

But you don't,
reverse action of me from you
that's only i want...
You're not my beloved
But i am your friend of course,
You're not mine at all
But i am totally of yours...
You're my love
But you don't understand,
Can we get into relationship?
Or stay just like friends...
It is one sided
But i'll make you mine,
We'll wash ourselves in rain together
And bath together in sunshine...

beautiful, first love, heart, heartbreak, heartbroken, love, nostalgia,
For a moment you looked at me the same way you did many years ago
A grin on your face and a fire in your eyes that I thought died when you left
For a moment I held you and time went in reverse
Back to you sitting in the passenger seat with a look on your face I had only read about before
Like I was the only person who existed in your presence
For a moment no time had passed a comfort only afforded to someone special The feeling of us against the world rushing back in to my veins
For a moment my heart beats in sync with yours
Like a movie playing out before my eyes But only for a moment and then it's gone

inspirational, inspirational love, love,
A few notes set a rhythm
The foxtrot beckons
Across the crowded room they smile
Nat's melodic tone frames the dance
Towards each other they move
And then they are one
Bodies locked in a dance embrace
The romantic shades of four-four time
Float across the meadows of their hearts
Effortlessly they glide across the floor
Feather step, reverse turn, natural weave
Flowing movements are but second nature
Others gaze on in wonder
As every elegant step unfolds
One beautiful, musical love story
Music fades, but their light shines brightly
They look, they laugh, they kiss
Then arm-in-arm they dance into the future
Living life to their stardust melody

forgiveness, love,
Yesterday you told me you were leaving
I’d stopped you doing what YOU wanted
You stamped your feet and screamed loudly
Your tears were flowing freely
You said you hated me
My heart is breaking
Please don’t leave me
Forgive me
Darling
I
Still
Love you
I’m sorry
I look at you
Lying in your bed
Sleeping so peacefully
Dreaming such lovely sweet dreams
I have to remember the fact
That you are still only two years old
And you really still love your mummy

I am confused
because
I am scared,

Somehow
I will be

Someday
I will find
the love of my life.
Until then
I am young
Growing old.

Growing old.
I am young
Until then.
The love of my life
I will find

best friend, emotions, for him, love, senses, universe,
I will follow you to the ends of the universe.
You sing and I will be the note you strain to reach.
Even in your sleep, the dreams of love in reverse,
I will be that scream of nightmares you breach.
Put one foot forward and I will be a foot away.
Fly and I will be the wing that meets the gale force
that which propels the flight to lands faraway
and guides you back home to love and its source.
Laugh, sing and I will be the bubbles of joy overflow.
Cry the tears attesting to gladness, sorrow and pain.
Whatever emotion I will be the candle forever aglow
even in death, I will be your light come shine or rain.

age, first love, growing up, nostalgia, old, sick, youth,
If I had to recount a range for pure,
If would be womb to birth to sixteen years.
Aglow with vigor on a virgin shore --
Of first-love hugs and superhuman tears.
Fearless and careless of body and mind,
A known contradiction, a youthful show.
But, age spins quickly to the daily grind --
And, feelings reverse as we age and flow.
Gray and grown with painful inflammation.
Nothing to fear from a senior mind-prism.
Protesting every new deformation --
The paradox of youth versus wisdom.
Young, infinite, bliss, immortality --
Lost in mature, moonless normality.

funny, love, car,
In car seats sitting in a parking lot, grocery store
We witnessed a most ghastly gore
An out of control shopping cart
On a path toward my car door
I yelled, “WHAT DO I DO?!”
When in a panic
One often has no clue
I panicked and raced
To get keys into place
But they landed
Jingling to the floor
You said, “HURRY!!!!”
I tried my best to scurry
Relieved when the key and ignition
Made love
I threw it in reverse
For the cart wasn’t to be coerced
When we escaped
Feeling like heroes, caped
We put the groceries on the counter
And made love for an hour

lost love,
I deleted your number
It's not the first time.
I had too
The pain was unbearable, I couldn't pretend anymore
The feelings were factual
But I wonder if they were mutual
I have no reverse tab that I can just click
And erase some things
And untie some strings
Or revive the rings
Maybe the memories dont torture me as much as the future
You see, I still dream of us together
Should I save my......our daylights
Or should I let the dark hover on until one day...........
...or never
