Forever Verona

A Montague. A Capulet.
‘Twas at a masquerade they met.
Two strangers caught each other's eyes
as strains of love began to rise.

Upon a courtyard balcony,
amidst the angst of family,
‘twas there the pair professed love's need -
though Kismet's kiss would intercede.

Alas, the banes of passion bleed -
resolving gest through tragedy.
The foils of fate singed hot as coals
yet death would reunite their souls.

Two hearts in heaven overflow -
One Juliet. One Romeo.

Never Too Late For Love

Sweet floral wine aged with a fine distinction
permeates violet fluorescence through the air
silenced souls and the years cut into the night
and wrapped about the pinkest moon reunite

Love held at bay bringing life to weathered sails
under whispered breath and last nights first kiss
eyes widen with each anxious glance embraced
as time slowly tics hearts become gallantly graced

Flushed with feelings captured in a glow anew
It's never, never too late for a love that is true

Lavender Gardens

O'er feathery clouds adrift a kite
'Neath sway lavender gardens that invite
Embracing warm rays of spring sunlight
Pining for sweet afternoon delight
With glass of wine lovers reunite

O'er dreamlike blissfully scented sight
The moon tiptoes up the sky so sprite
Till she gains apex above in height
Whilst I close my eyes to say goodnight
I tender my love dulcet good night
Spring lavender garden dreams take flight

Until We Reunite

I'm counting the stars
until we reunite, nothing
like having you in my life.

I thought I saw a glimpse
of you here in heaven, but
it was just my mind playing
tricks on me.

I spoke to God
I asked him will
you be joining me
real soon...

Cause I can't live
without you.

He replied with a smile
as he open his arms, and
to my surprise there you
were as beautiful as I first
you on Earth.

We embraced as we cried
of our love so divine.

Now we get to spend an eternity
together, where this time death
can't separate us...

In love forever, and ever,
and ever.

Try New Things

Loons sing their praise tree frogs echo through the night. New friendships are made and old friendships strengthen and reunite. God is watching us grow while challenging us to try new things! Step into the unknown take a leap of faith The journey may seem scary at the time. but God is by your side. You may trip and stumble but with faith and love God will catch you when you fall Covering you like an umbrella with his love Never forget we are all one.

Liquid Pearl

One liquid pearl of light, stands 'tween me and insanity. Keeps to bay, shadows which bite, claws that catch, pierce reality. One liquid pearl of light, minds eyes, that open to the world, see past boundaries to great heights. Yet, crash within, as I unfurl. One liquid pearl of light. Misguided warmth of hopeful thoughts! Inside, I can reunite? There! In truth, is folly wrought. One liquid pearl of light, dances on, leaving me no doubt, that I should not feed the spite. I must love, 'err the flame go out.

It's Too Early To Write Poetry

A summer evening rarefied
An elder spirit clarified,
Made spare and true, the ingenue
Long bid adieu returned anew
To walk with me and disagree
On wrong and right then reunite
In love's accord our faith restored;
Late magic hour to endow her,
Naught overcomes such sweet power,
Wise crone to some, yet my flower.

Broken Parts

When wishes and dreams summon love back, your heart discerns it is on its way. And should it freely return to you, it will shed itself of doubt and stay. Cupid's enchanted arrow aims to unite two lonely hearts into one. And weave heartstrings into happiness, intertwining fates as they get spun. Hope fuels hot, smoldering embers till they erupt in a searing kiss. And two soulmates reunite in love, equating sex with heavenly bliss. Passion's exquisite flame forges the molten metal of fledgling hearts. And melds souls for eternity, creating one from two broken parts.

My Dear Grandma

My dear grandma who knitted and crocheted
made intricate creations with her hands.
My dear grandma taught a girl how to pray
with a love for God and courage to stand.

I smile when I see my dear grandma's face,
smiling back in a black and white picture.
I cry when I think of her final days
and the last time I bent down to kiss her.

My dear grandma was bold and assertive,
family matriarch and woman, faithful.
Admiration grows in my reflective
thought. For her love, I am ever grateful.

One beautiful day, in glorious light,
my dear grandma and I will reunite.

I Believe

I believe

I believe that true love will always prevail,

When soul mates reunite, it's much more than a folktale.

Once found, a love eternal that can never fail.

Chosen by angels before their birth.

Precious as jewels, an unfathomable worth.

Drawn to each other like moths to a flame.

Crossing time to meet again, our gift to reclaim.

He grips so tightly to her warmth
with fears that this will be their last
encounter until God knows when -

When will we reunite once more?

He, lost in limerence - summer -
She ran as fast as the leaves fell;
now he walks amongst her ashes.

Heaven

When we depart this earthly realm
     For all eternity to sleep
Will heaven's angels at the helm
    Awaken us from slumbers deep
Where death once held us in its keep
And guide us towards heaven's light
Where we will sing with great delight
In heaven's realm in skies above
To reunite with hearts so bright
And join hands with those we love

Splendid City

Oh Splendid City bathed in moon's clear light
From cliffs afar, an opalescent sight.

My lover waits within your walls so near
To window lit my heart bids me take flight!

But leave I must and to your strength commend,
My true-love in your fastness keep from plight.

'Til I return in glory draped and then
We two in ecstasy shall reunite.

Our limbs commingled, lips conjoined in kiss,
I pledge my sweet, oh! Soon to be the night

This comely bard your senses will delight
And once again our passions to ignite.

So This Is Love

So this is love,
when I look upon my beloved sleeping contentedly,
cooing like a dove,
a smile forms, memories flood,
growing closer with each passing year,
unaware of the changes ageing shows clear,
your beauty eternally imprinted upon my mind
imprinted throughout time

The only sadness comes when we must part,
if only for a short while,
soon to reunite for eternity,
to walk hand in hand
as youths once again,
followed by a heavenly dove,
So this is love

Time To Change

Presents all opened with a smile
Families were able to reunite.
Now father time
Says its time
To say goodbye
To this year and welcome
With open arms a new year.
Full of new life
and all new joy.
Maybe a new love
or a new child born.

Let's all rejoice
as the new day
dawns with the rays
of life alive
to see our families.

Since You'Ve Been Gone

Since you've been gone my life hasen't been the same
But in this situation there's no one to blame
Hopefully one day we will reunite
So we can laugh and reminisce about the days we used to fight
It's hard for me to go on day after day
Because you moved to lousiana which is so far away
Don't get me wrong I love the letters
But you being here will make me feel so much better
You have been the best friend I have ever had
When I think about you leaving it makes me so sad
When you were in florida I thought fate would keep you here
No matter how far the distance in my heart you will always be near

Meditation

Suspending all my judgment now, I seek my breath
for weightless inhalation has become a fight
and to exhale, release, I fear will bring the death
of fortitude and all my demons reunite.
With failures both of logic and of circumstance
extinguishing the flames of hope within my soul,
I hasten now to try to halt the swift advance
of darkness and reclaim the faith my weakness stole.
I can find no more clarity in every day
without the freedom from the haunting of the past
where truth and virtue vanished in the disarray
of the uncertainty and bitterness amassed.

I breathe in love yet seek the distance from its will
to answer this, and pray the mind at last be still.

Dark Side

Dark poets reunite and we share our poems
online. As far as I know we are doing really well
without the fuss or the bad that the people think
we do. Like a bat with rabies that is on the verge
of coming after anybody or whoever moves.
Wow, what a scary situation! Dark are the posses
of the gothic clothing. Any songs you wanna sing makes
the Dark Side an illusional concept in rock n roll.
However, a bad day comes and it brings you down,
write a story, a song, or even a poem, to bring your mood
from down to radiant. Feel as wonderful as a free flying
black crow. A love for music makes anyone happy.
Just like the love for poetry that has different sides to it.

Mother

pain and suffering endured giving life
love and happiness enveloping youth
kindness and guidance given throughout the years
content and fearless as her death nears
tears of sorrow shed as she departs
tears of joy as time brings spirits to reunite
mother and children together in everlasting life

Gone Too Soon

Just like a page that has been ripped from a book
or a shooting star that disappears after a single look
you were here for such a short time
how can I go on without you by my side
I thought that I would have you longer than I did
but death is incomprehensible to a little kid
I yearn for the healing touch only my daddy can bring me
and now all I have left to cling to is your memory
the life you lives was so full and happy
but too short for any of us to love you completely
you are in Heaven, this I know
I am still here longing to be with you so
but until God sees fit to reunite us some day
I will keep you in my heart with all that I do and say

Invitation To Dance

He appeared in the dance of life,
Handsome and strong,
Guided by the Gods,
He appears in my life again,
Only the Gods can reunite us,
How is it that after years ,
You wish to reunite,
A friendship discovered,
Like a jewel of experiences,
The companionship so exceptional,
To share the days and nights,
With God's permission,
A love defined and perhaps,
 Never to be realized,
The agony and the ecstasy,
The miracle of having met,
The lord guides us with an accuracy,
A holy bible guests.

Reunion - Dedicated To My Mother, Teresa

Womb set free
For a happier life
The mark of true love
Is setting a part of yourself free
Love always returns and find its way home
Seventeen long years pass
Then we reunite
We embrace
We talk to each other like we have always known one another
Like soul mates
And like strangers
Both of us feeling ambivalent about our relationship
Accompanied with feelings of jubilance
Trying to understand a way to begin
Something that has already begun without us
Our reunion begins our journey together
Mother and daughter
Building a solid foundation
From which we may grow

Three Days To Reunite

A beautiful rainbow, a familiar domain
aligning two hearts together again
like a volcanic explosion
a burst of hot flames
a burning deep within
a rush of emotions
flowing rain drops
drowning my every vein
anticipation of a special someone
thought never to be seen again
so surreal the feeling within me
a journey back in time
to a beautiful first love
found twice in a lifetime
In just three days a strong wind
and then the hurricane
will reunite fire with water
the signs of two hearts design
three days to reunite
a young love at first sight
three days to reunite
the sun and moon.

The Last Supper

He provided fine food to eat and wine to drink on his last night

so with God we can reunite

he prepared a feast

so in heaven with him we can meet

he laid down his life to free us from sin

so eternal life can begin

believe it in your heart and know that it is true

that Jesus always will love you.
