Supreme Being

When you came to me the earth revolved then stood still
dressed jewel of purest sunlight circled in gold mere reflections

Through the oceans wings sailing inside waves embrace
we rise and fall drawing from a breathless air filled with Peace

Caught up within the sparkle lustre that sings from an echo returning
twinkling stars light warmly together ally an alliance between souls

Captured brightly the spirit of eternal beauty brings, under glowing beams
when we act together as one temple forever crowns the heart to Love

Houston We Have a Problem

"When returning love, becomes to Late"

Fantastic,
From her eyes
His name the name
She mumbles silently
3 rivers, 3 years, 2 many tears
She loves him endlessly

Sending her soul
A free feeling,
Finally, he fell
Engaging, equal to the spell
Morning, mountains and more
Move across a new age moon
His heart happily
Traveling towards hers
Dashing dandy, onto her dinner plate
Too long she waited,
She's not hungry, her heart self healed

3 rivers 3 years 2 late
Her tears faded his rusty name

Death Can Not Take You From Me

Once again I lie down where daisies grow
In fields above the banks where salt winds blow
Golden memories rush through my hungry soul
Returning pieces of my heart lost long ago

Candy Horse Vs Dark Kid

The center of a star reflects just like a diamond...
Returning a pearl within each silver breath that one treasures...
With faceted panels, I promised I'd never...
Sweep over a deep sea of blue waves unmeasured...

There is a pattern woven inside golden petals that kiss the inside of my heart...
Parts of my heart that I've thus' failed to start...
With soft fingers dancing, you're forever entrancing...
My star that's eternally far...

Winter's Last Gasp

1st lover

winter’s last gasp
bone chilling loneliness ....
warm scent of your coat

2nd lover

reaching across miles
sending balmy loving thoughts
returning with spring
distance of no consequence
cold weather unimportant

Requiem

Released and slowly drifting to the earth,
the leaf departs her tree in mournful grace;
though both will live to see another birth,
none same will be returning in her place.
We meet as always in the space between
the branch's bud and parting leaf stem's end;
a tearful eye, a tugging force unseen
does will the laws reverse, gravity bend.
Enhanced though was the nearly naked tree
by springtime's bloom, her fallen trembling love -
released to serve another destiny -
in turn, will be the better than above.

Leaf falls to rest, and in her fading sigh,
she breathes to tree her final sad goodbye.

A Once Found Object

She was a gentle and careful woman

and when she'd found something so fragile

she had taken it,

carefully and gently,

and tended to it,

patiently and lovingly.

Then,

returning to where it had first attracted her,

repaired where she could repair,

and strengthened where she could strengthen,

she replaced, carefully and tenderly,

a better thing than that she'd found.

Acts of Faith

Each day begins as an act of faith.
We cross our thresholds and expect
That no cruel twist of fate
Will stay us from returning.

But the twists await us in their careless abundance,
Well we know, in our hearts, that one day
There'll be no more coming home again.

For many it goes this way with love.
Love parts, returns, then parts again
Through all the shifts and flux of living,
Oftentimes traveling a little farther out,
Returning a little later
With every passing day, until one day, almost unnoticed
It comes not home at all.

Weak Spots Xi

Anticipation in an eye gaze
Before the plunge between
Lips and skin—
The vulnerable way into the heart

A rush that gushes through
Every avenue of the frame
As a scent causes thrills that hide
Not long enough to be secret

Hands over hands
Soft skin wrapped in soft skin
A trace of fear—a reminder—
This is not a fantasy

This is real—laughter and doting—
Touches—more gushes and thrills—
Goosebumps forming on the flesh,
The gaze returning in full blaze

Returning

He followed the motion and before it left the hand, he was away.

His greatest thrill was fulfilling his purpose, to please.

On returning, he stood patient, waiting for that firm stroke

That caressed his spine; and the feel of the palm on his ribcage;

Two pats coupled with the words: “Good Boy”.

He knew this pleasure was a current that ran both ways.

This game of fetch, as close as he could ever come,

To playing catch with his father.

The way they did,

When he was once a boy.

Til Then Burning

Today I awoke, half-eaten by
a stubborn flame that cannot die

though long the coal departed;
I lay here broken-hearted,

like it was yesterday she said
she needs me not before she fled

as times before, though yearning
and every time returning.

I wonder as the months go by
her lodging, and the reason why

she bore it all, untethered
then left me just her feathers

and the most pretty memory
for my diurnal reveries

assuring, to be clear,
to me she’s dying to be near

and yet dreams of returning,
to quench me, ‘til then burning.

Just a Whisper

It rode the breeze
slipping softly, gently brushing every leaf
as if it were dancing,
 an elegant flow and caress
waltzing to some melody playing,
off in the distance of a memory
returning to bring back the recall
 of love embracing every heartbeat
and the whispered hush
 of lost love
that continues to live
 alive, safe and secure
protected in the rush of whispers.

More Snippets

I. Bleeding -- a world without comfort -- lost without love -- no destination... silently walk without touching wounds... where is love? II. Frail fingers grope... sodden afternoons... winter fog... through gray eternity -- cold eyes, delicious mouth. Found love will laugh, desire returning. III. Making love, we deceived ourselves. Complicitors, we lied. Compliant pawns, we defied danger, practiced brilliant fabrication -- but truth was stranger. IV. Others know desire: ever changing years -- and lifetimes -- reaching towards the moon. Love, be my way.

Running

She was the fiery love

She was the lonely love

She was the unforgettable love

She was the protected love

She was the jealous love

There are different ways to love but there is only one true love

Were you running away from love or running away from yourself

Afraid that you’re not ready, afraid to be wrong

Every time I think we're moving forward you pull away like the tide

Only getting close enough to see a glimpse of love but too scared to stay and see the whole thing

Returning to your deep depths where you don't have to worry about your true feelings

p.s. you can always run but never fully hide…

Aeromancy

Pecking its way out of the golden light
Songbirds arise non-feathered when they hatch
Feathered wings lift them high in upward flight
Crested larks lay colourful eggs that match

Aeronautical flying birds in love
In the air, romancing like Valentines
Returning to where they were quite beloved
Where their hearts weren't always undermined

I know you do verily love the uplift
Even when your spirit flies to the bayside
Where imagination soars adrift
While I'm trekking on with my mighty hindsight

Bright light flies from the summits each morning
A reddish glow adorns those summits, recording:

Alpenglow!

Daybreak

I wake on the sand
Right near the beach
You have yet to awake
Far out of reach
And Daybreak has arrived
A beauty unlike any other
Comparable only to us, girl
And how we love each other

So I gaze up alone
Marveling up at the sky
The warmth of the sun
Drying my eyes
I'm reflecting on us
Oh how each other we trust
I'm just so happy we're together
And I think to myself,
Just as this sun, we'll last forever

Then returning to be with you
I lay again now
Place my hand gently
On your warm tender shoulder
While I think of our lives today, love
And how they'll be when we're older...
I know there'd be no other way
So "I Love You" I make sure I say
To you, each and everyday

Where Frozen Embers Still Burn

We huddled ‘neath a hand-made afghan When it was just eight-below outside Beside the brick fireplace with my man Less than a year since I was his bride Hopes and dreams we shared that bitter night His arms ‘round me; all seemed possible Recalling our vows before firelight Our matching rings shone, our love's symbol There’d never be another for me We thought all of our dreams would come true We had no insight of what would be Never knowing we’d soon bid adieu He now finds warmth in heaven’s light My heart knows he’ll not be returning But recalling this night brings delight Even with frozen embers burning

Ododo

At the dusk of the day,
When all souls sojourn the dream land
The 'hood deserted
And the path grimy
While the arctic nurtures my skin
I care not for myself
Deferring all thought
I walk the soggy valley to pluck a rose
Just for u!

Returning; the leaves
Clap in victory
The moon glows in sheer pride
So the trees dance gallantly
All to hail a hero;
More so; all for you

I thirst for this tick
Patiently relishing it
Living the beacon’s light
Just at its crescendo
It comes a stillbirth
Why haven’t I known?
It isn’t for you

Unrequited Love

Returning from a one-sided love affair on a full tank of unleaded love. It didn’t help matters much with Roy Orbison singing “It’s over” on the radio; I made an attempt to turn it off but I just couldn’t do it. I was masochistically mesmerized: hearing only his voice lamenting its familiar, few last lyrics: “It's over, it's over, it’s over… it’s o...ver.” Indeed, it was!

Me

Me

When I am all alone and quiet.
The stillness startles me.
How on earth could I just think about me; my life;
my purpose; my needs?

Surely thinking of others...
Thinking of my loved ones would be more noble?

Yet as I try to think about me and reconnect to me.
I find every excuse to break off the connection.
Returning to me.
Not as easy as I thought.

I guess to be truly brave;
I have to persist in the connection to me.

For once you are clear on who you are.
You are clear on your role for the ones you love.

Hear the Wind Calling Your Name

Hear the wind calling your name.
He and I are just the same
Holding you in our arms – a frame,
Maybe “Memory” is its true name.

Do not despair, I am a spellcaster,
Runes in black written on alabaster -
Little stars tinkling faster and faster,
The night shifts, with the spellcaster

The wind does not have a just mind
He loves when love is by his side,
Coming and returning with the sea’s tide
But I, I do not have an blank mind

Watch when your love is not in your arms,
Sway when she is hiding her charms -
Do not wait for kisses flying in swarms -
Do you love when cupid naps in your arms?

Desert Sky

So beautiful we can’t help but cry
As the sun sets in the desert sky
The horizon with all its colors to share
Strip the soul and leave it bare
Leaving one to contemplate
With all its trials life is great
The parched earth has turned to dust
Returning to it, we all must
The tragedy is with those left behind
With all the memories they try to find
I have seen it all before
Nothing less – nothing more
We give our hearts to those we love
Place our faith in the Lord above
As the horizon accepts the setting sun
Just like this day my poem is done

For the Children of Tomorrow

future generations of a democratic socialist society

will study our barbarity

and study

how and why

the transition from democratic socialism to communism

will be made with great care

to avoid the pitfalls of returning to capitalism

the communist society

will study us with sorrow

but the seeds of the work that we do

will later blossom as we are remembered as heroes

as those who stood

for the children of tomorrow.

bless us all.

truth peace and love be with us all.
